Reception lacked interest and when issues with accessing wife gave several different passwords to try. When they didnt work did change rooms. However the standard of both the rooms were poor and the room change didnt improve the wifi! One of the beds had lip stick marks on the sheets and looked unwashed. The shower room had several tiles chipped... More

This hotel is average. What it lacks in amenities, it makes up for in location. The hotel is OK. It is clean with average service, average beds, hot showers and average towels. nothing special. Since we stayed in poor to high end hotels this trip to Puebla, I would say it fit in the middle. I can't give it a... More

The rooms are clean and adequate. The price is very affordable. The location is fantastic! Right on the charming zocalo of San Pedro Cholula. Considering quality, price and location, this is a very good hotel.

The best location ever! Just inside of the Plaza de la Concordia and beautifully painted rooms. The Hotel recepcionists are so kind that made us feel at home :) The first day we came to the Hotel at 1am and they kindly opened parking lot. There was a cold weather those days so we could not try pool but water... More

This hotel was pretty with friendly staff who tried to communicate in English. It is so close to all the activities and took only 15 minutes to walk up to the pyramid church. The only drawback was the noise, the loud bangs from the processions which seemed to be right outside our window at all hours of the day and... More

I spent few days in the hotel and I can say that prices are excellent for the relaxing place. You are in front of the main zocalo and just few blocks from main pyramid. The staff is very helpful, specially Miguel - who is always trying to help and being the perfect host! He took us to the park near... More

The Hotel Calli is right on the zocalo in Cholula. We had a room way in the back, so street noise wasn't a problem. The rooms are very minimalist...all white with little decoration, so not much character. But the price was reasonable and you can't beat the location.

This hotel is on the Zócalo and is good value for money. Our room was simple and clean, but very dark. It was directly beside the pool. We only used the restaurant for breakfast which was adequate.

They have a small restaurant that offers the basics, so no chance to get a fancy dinner there. We ask for a big room... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Our hotel is located in the heart of the mystical and centuries-old city of Cholula, within a beautiful arcade reputed to be the longest in Latin America, and only steps away from important tourist sites, like the massive Aztec pyramid and the monastery of San Gabriel, two historic jewels of Mexico. The latter is home to the Franciscan Library, which gathers more than 17 thousand volumes from seven important convents in America.Cholula was the most important ceremonial center in Mexico during pre-Hispanic times.Casa Calli was the first hotel in Cholula. It began operating in 1981. For ten years it was also the hall of residence of the University of the Americas Puebla, during which time, through a poll carried out among students, it was recognized as the dormitory where students felt "like home".Conveying this feeling remains the essence of Casa Calli. We, at Casa Calli, are proud of knowing that we have everything you need for your stay with us, your home away from home, to be a most pleasant experience. Our well-trained and always attentive staff is at your service. ... more   less
