The Pousada Marymar is a great little place providing clean rooms great service and super helpful staff. The Pousada is located just one block from Knights Beach in Macae. The Pousada Marymar is very comfortable with a staff that goes out of their way to ensure your comfort. I stayed there for a week and enjoyed the stay. The price for the Marymar for the week was actually less than one night's stay at an average local hotel! A stay at the Marymar is very much like a stay with family.
Do not be mislead, it is not a 5 star hotel but the Marymar is a great place to stay and SAVE!

This is a great little pousada (little motel) right off the beach on Macae Brazil. It's a pleasant and homey little motel that serves a nice breakfast every morning. It's good place to standby while you're waiting to go offshore.

There must be 10 different great resturants or bar/grills withing a 5 minutes walk along the boardwalk there infront of the pousada.

Cable TV with English channels and internet. The lady that owns the pousada does speak fair english and so does the front desk girl.
