I stayed in the "vip" room. Advantage: very comfortable and large, with a huge bathroom. Disadvantage: far from the main building, so I would not recommend it for people with difficulties to walk. The light on the stairs were so dark that my boyfriend missed a step and fell on the floor. The hotel staff told us they would try...

I was at this hotel for several times and each times I have discovered more. The construction is truly impressive in the way which it combines with the natural elements. There are plenty of areas to chill out in the hotel and it is not to far from the City Centre. The northern part is worth to be explored. On...

The location is good. The staff is nice. İt has its own beach which is so nice also. The restaurant is avarage. The only problem is the room and the wifi. It s smaller than seen on the photos and wifi is really slow. In general I can recommend although there are some neg points.

This was my first visit to Ilhabela and I was very happy with my hotel choice. Hotel Mercedes is situated on a big property, a few kilometres north from the central hub of the island. The hotel itself is very nice with some very cool & quirky architecture. I felt that the room was overpriced for what it was -...

My husband and I spent 3 days in one of the VIP suites and it was absolutely beautiful... Service impeccable, lovely facilities and the breakfast put on about a million kilos on both of us :) Will definitely be back!

Hotel Mercedes is a very nice and quite large property with a natural waterfall that fills up a nice water feature that separates the hotel. The Rooms are quite spacious with comfortable beds. The bathrooms are of a good size but could be a little bigger as the toilet is directly across from the shower with a very little gap...

This hotel is huge! And it has definitely seen better days. It is 50 years old and it is very impressive how the owners managed to keep it working over the decades. Built as a Portuguese fort, it's fascinating how it's architecture cuts through natural rocks, making way to impressive staircases, corridors and a cute natural swimming pool, filled by...

The hotel had clearly been through some renovations recently and was still going through some when we visited. With that being said, they kept the construction to daylight hours so it didn't disrupt our sleep too much. The hotel grounds were clean and very beautiful. The pools were right on the beach and the pool bar was nice. The staff...

This is a very nice hotel. Much of it has been recently renovated, and they are still in the process of renovating some. The construction was a bit loud, but they limit it to normal hours during the day so it does not interfere with sleep. I think they are nearly done anyways. Rooms- I had a garden room. It...

The hotel is well situated, facing the sea and fitted with a private beach. It has several swimming pools. It is very big, with lots of corridors stairs passages -you'd need a map to find your way around ;)- but it offers amenities for kids and is the typical place where you would go with your whole family and kids....
