Absolutely loved staying here for the weekend- the rooms are clean and spacious with attached bathrooms. Prices are very reasonable and include a delicious breakfast every morning. Lots of open space for hanging out, designated hammocking areas, complimentary tea, coffee, and purified drinking water is...More
Room was more than adequate, bed comfortable, bathroom clean and common areas very pleasant. Staff very helpful -- but often nowhere to be found. Only complaints were hard to find staff (needed towels, were promised them, but several hours later still no towels, internet didn't...More

There are 3 or more buses per day directly to Mindo center from Ophelia bus station in the north of Quito. However I would recommend taking the ecovia (25 cents) which travels from the old town along 6 decembre to Rio Coco station, transfering to the large northstation (terreste norte) in Carcelen, and taking any bus going to the coast that will stop at top of hill near Mindo. Then take a taxi into town. There is always a bus leaving along this route with minimal wait, no worries about advance purchases or schedule, quick and easy.
