Grassy camping sites. Spotless facilities. Friendly lady in charge. Quiet night with little road noise. Some workers staying there so early starters. Camp site $14. Suggest you spend a night here before heading for Chillagoe.

Small park with big enough level sites - many with concrete pads. Water, power and waste water drainage. Friendly and very helpful park manager. All this for $19/night - great value. Dimbulah, some 50km W of Mareeba on the road to Cillagoe, is an old...More

We stayed in a "donga" which is a demountable or portable one-room cabin. There were basic kitchen facilities and comfy beds. Toilet and shower amenities are only a few steps away but be aware of the cane toads who lurk under the lights at night...More
