This is a beautiful part of the world and the resort is a very relaxing and charming place to stay. We enjoyed a well appointed lodge room with expansive views over the well manicured golf course and coastal scenery. Planter loungers on the terrace meant we could enjoy the sunny warmth al fresco. Although we did not brave the swimming...

Stayed and played here - surroundings breathtakingly beautiful and accommodation in the lodges was more than ample and reasonably good value even for 2 people. Dinner in the evening was I'm,agitative and well served by people who must have spent all their days and nights there - talk about multi-tasking! If we had a complain it was that the quality...

We had a recent visit to the beautiful Kari Kari Peninsula in Northland New Zealand. We had booked a 2 night stay at Peppers Carrington Resort. If you are a keen golfer, the course looked beautiful and there were several people playing both days. The accomodation was lovely with huge rooms and very comfortable beds. There was one problem, the...

The golf course was in great condition, worth a visit just for this. We stayed on one of the villas (2 couples, 2 nights). Positives: The villas are well proportioned, very roomy and comfortable for 2 couples. Has a full kitchen, reasonable fridge etc. if you want to self cater (we did as had a poor experience of the restaurant...

Our experience at Peppers Carrington was a bit disappointing as the wild winds that whipped across the peninsula meant that almost all the outdoor activities were off the table. Trouble is, unless you really love a game of pool, there is not much else to do. The golf course looked stunning although we were not able to play due to...

My new husband and I picked this location for our honeymoon and spent a week here. Our honeymoon was better than we could imagine. The scenery is absolutely stunning - we got to watch beautiful sunset each night from the restaurant and our hotel room. The golf course is amazing standard and other resort facilities such as the large pool...

My husband surprised me with an overnight stay here for our wedding anniversary last weekend. When we landed in Kaitaia I was wondering where we would be staying but by the time we had taken the 30 min shuttle ride from the airport I was amazed at the stunning scenery. The resort itself was very quiet, in fact we only...

Wow! This has got to be one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten in during my lifetime. The restaurant is actually called Peppers, at the Carrington Resort on Matai Bay Road. Amazing. I had a two course dinner. For main, I had Duo of Lamb, which was pistachio crusted lamb loin, mustard honey herb crusted lamb cutlet, with roasted...
