The lodgings are chalet type, fairly basic but comfortable and with all mod cons. Views are unbelievable from the chalets. Staff are superb and nothing is too much trouble for them. Food is quite good. Location is perfect.

You can take the train from downtown Auckland and not have to worry about driving. The hotel will arrange a shuttle from the train station. Enjoy!

Well I'm not sure about the bus going all the way to the skotel, I doubt that very much. It will more than likely drop you off at Whakapapa village as outlined in above answer. Best ask at the big store where bus will prob... More
