We arrived at Big Sky B & B dripping wet and cold after a long day cycling the A2O trail. Kaye greeted us so warmly, armed with newspapers for us to stuff in our soaking shoes, the heating was already on in our room, and she took all our very wet clothing to put in her tumble dryer. Both she... More

We stayed with Kay and Hank while cycling the A2O trail. Two purpose-built, modern units are attached to the house giving an excellent balance of privacy and inclusion. Kay and Hank (along with Holly - the most chilled out dog in the world) make excellent hosts. Breakfast was delicious. If you're looking for somewhere to stay in Omarama you really... More

Peaceful, tranquil and a lovely spot to recharge. Kay and Hank were very friendly hosts and their hospitality was outstanding. Omarama has some interesting places to visit, especially the antique/gift shop (Don't miss checking out Zenna).

Kay and Hank are an interesting and very welcoming couple. Stayed one night to break a long road trip. Wished I could have had at least an extra night to explore the area. Comfy bed and space to sit and relax. Quiet end of town. Pleasant stroll to local bars and cafes. Breakfast was spot on and a good start... More

Hank and Kay are very friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts, very forthcoming with tips on where to eat and attractions to see in the area. The rooms were detached and very private with private entry ways so you don't feel like you are intruding into someone's private home but still felt homely. Our room was very comfortable, warm and spacious.... More

We couldn't have felt more at home with kay and Hank, they were very helpful in planing our 2night stay. It is within walking distance to town for dinner and the towns amenities. The breakfast in their house was perfect, thanks Hank for the great home made Muslie, and fresh fruit, my husbands cooked breakfast was so good he had... More

My husband and I were made to feel welcome the two nights we stayed in this comfortable relaxing, not far out of Oamarama (could walk into town for evening meal and have a drink - so no driving). In the morning at breakfast we were included in the conversations with family and friends, while Kay cooked the big breakfast with... More

We only had one night at this excellent B&B but would recommend. Kay and Hank are brilliant hosts and the facilities in the room are really good and with its own entrance you have privacy. The breakfast was superb, the best poached eggs we had in New Zealand. Can highly recommend to anyone stopping in Onarama.

We had a lovely stay here - the only complaint is that they didn't have room for us for 2 nights. Kay and Hank are so friendly and accommodating and made our stay extremely comfortable. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are so clean. Breakfast was a hoot with lots of laughter and stories of the area. We only... More
