    Great place to visit the glaciers

    A great campsite to base yourself whilst visiting the glaciers. Great views of Franz Josef, great staff and terrific facilities. We really enjoyed our stay here. Couldn’t have asked for better. Thanks guys for making it a memorable trip.

    Great facilities, but okay powered site

    Great location

    I have visited the area many times and have never known them to be much of a problem, certainly not like Milford Sound. As people have mentioned, they are more of a problem near the coast, and in warmer months - Oct - April.

    HI, there are no free campsites? So I am not quite sure what you mean? A night in July for two adults is $40 for a powered site. This includes the use of power, toilet and shower facilities.
