I stayed with a friend for 6 nights in this remote tropical paradise and spent most days diving with Dive Munda (highly recommended). It is pretty incredible staying on a remote island where the only people there are guests staying at Zipolo Habu Resort and Joe, Lisa, Harold, Pelita, Dorothy and the rest of the team. Highly recommend taking a...

I booked a fishing trip with these but did not stay at the resort. I feel as if they were trying to rip me off from the start. First of all i was told i was booked on to the trip then the day came and i was not. I had to extend my stay for 3 more days due...

We only stayed a couple of nights but Zipolo Habu was the perfect spot to relax and let everyone take care of you. We took advantage of the opportunity to visit Skull Island and to do the tour of the Lagoon. The food was excellent, the bar was well stocked, the room was comfortable and all other amenities suited us...

Zipolo Habu, or "Lola" as it is well known, great friendly location for everything for a drop in to meals & great island styled accommodation. Easily located from either Munda or Gizo towns. They can offer fishing, snorkelling, tours & transfers. Top Spot!!

This was a beautiful place to visit. Untouched by tourism and like going back in time. If you want a relaxing time with basic amenities this is great! However if you want to be pampered this is not for you. We stayed in a deluxe accommodation with no ensuite. The toilets and showers were located away from the bungalow. They...

Great spot, great food and plenty to do! This is a wonderful place to have a peaceful time in an idyllic setting. Clear blue water, comfortable accommodation , some mod cons to make life easier and boat trips for fishing, snorkelling etc if that is your interest. For those who like a beautiful tropical setting and tranquillity this is it!

Skimming across Vonavona Lagoon toward Zipolu Habu is a bit like arriving on a movie set. Only a set designer could create a scene like this; a tiny palm fringed island, islander architecture bungalows tucked in along the edge of the jungle and a rickety jetty to receive our speed boat from the airport at Munda. “Hi I’m Joe,” is...

After reading several reviews, particularly the one from the very disappointed chap from Tokyo, I will hopefully balance perceptions of Zipolo Habu out a bit. Running a resort - any kind of resort - in a thoroughly corrupt country, where you must provide your own electricity, water, sewerage, and other rather un-romantic but very necessary things, is very hard work....

The Western Solomon Islands Province is a fisherman's paradise, but even more, the fish eater's paradise. So many fish around that some restaurants consider fish too common to bother elaborating on their menus. But Zipolo Habu specializes in helping you catch the fish and then eating it. As an example, it is common for them to send out a platter...
