My wife and I stayed here for one night while we were moving for a new job and it was very nice and clean. We checked in late and checked out early (right after breakfast - 6:15am) but the staff we met was very nice and friendly.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, beds were comfortable, quality TV stations available was great. The breakfast in the morning was extremely good and the lady working the kitchen was very friendly and kept the area clean. I had researched the ratings on several different sites before stopping at this hotel and was very surprised at the negative comments based on my experience which was a A+ .
The rooms were clean and well-maintained, but the staff (Friday evening) was disinterested and slow. There was no line or rush, but the evening staff seemed more inclined to watch TV than to get up and check us in. The Friday evening staff was not very efficient at serving us at the snack market (Saturday evening was much better). Overall the hotel felt clean and safe, but service was not a priority.
We are Hilton Honors members & selected Hampton Inn & Suites in Macon GA for our half way there accommodations. We wanted to be on the South side of Atlanta traffic, especially during Thanksgiving week. Honors allows us to select our room 24 hours in advance & also use digital key entry. Great location & clean comfortable room.Breakfast buffet was great, along with a friendly staff.(Hilton Honors rewards is a gift we continue to give ourselves 👍)
Very good quality and not too expensive. Excellent front staff at check in on Saturday night around 5 p.m. Room was immaculate and made our rest easy. Every amenity available at hand. Breakfast was great, with lots of choices and prepared well. Highly recommend this whole overnight experience.
