My family and I decided to stay at the Magnuson Hotel on our way to Florida. At a first glance the hotel looks pretty decent; but when you enter the hotel it is a much different story. There were huge flying roaches in our room, the building and elevator smelled like marijuana, and the breakfast was inedible. I will never...

We found this hotel on the internet. Several of the other hotels we like to stay at were booked for a convention in town. Overlful parking is in a abandoned strip mall behind the hotel. When we arrived the outside and lobby area in the hotel seemed like a congregation area for several different groups of people. That was a...

This Hotel was somewhat clean. Night shift staff was very nice and professional. Second day, afternoon staff friendly but one of them did not care really about my needs. The coffee was cold and from this morning. I let her know that the coffee was cold and she kind of looked at me and said " ok, I'll do a...

We recently spent one night on our way from FL heading back to OH. The hotel was dated and tired in appearance. We checked into room 602 to discover sheets that had not been changed, grit, hair (not from your head) and wrinkles where one would have slept. We were kindly told we could be provided new sheets, that we...

My stay was very pleasant and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was wonderful and hot. I would stay here again and recommend it to my friends. My next visit to Macon this will be my first choice.

Me and family along with my sister got adjoining rooms on our way to Fl. The rooms were cute. Nothing spectacular but definitely not the worst. Bathrooms were clean, beds were soft. Didn't see the pool. Breakfast wasn't that good at all. Next trip to Fl. we would probably stay somewhere else.

The hotel is fine and is a great value for the money. Rooms were clean and satisfactory. A great place for the value. Kind of in an oddball section of town and it's locale is noteworthy: It's the "anchor" for a nearly completely dead strip-mall. Surrounded by retail desolation -- and adjacent to a decrepit building that once housed (likely)...

But surely not the best. Good value for what you do get. Clean beds. Slowwww drains and tub was dirty with 2-3 inches of standing dirty water. Could not shower there. Friendly staff though. If looking for a cheap stopover, this is the place. The exterior was ok. Well lit parking lot. Lobby was clean and inviting.

So first off, this isn't in the greatest part of town. It has a shopping center around it that is mostly empty so I am not sure how secure it is. All that being said, the hotel itself was ok. The lobby area was just fine, but the rooms were outdated and the bathroom could have used a healthy dose...
