This was my wife and I's first experience at a B&B. We did lots of research (mainly on the Internet and Trip Advisor Reviews) and chose the Inn @ Rooster Hill for our stay in Port Angeles. It was a refreshing experience, especially since it was in the middle of some tent camping and lodge/hotel camping in the Olympic National...

These kids are wonderful and outstanding hosts. The whole stay really couldn't have been more hospitable and enjoyable. Peggy and Layne have got this whole B & B thing down to the fine details with little, fun nick-knacks in the rooms and extra comforts. The breakfast was delicious and out of the ordinary. Even the pups get into the whole...

Staying in Port Angeles...look no further. If we ever have the pleasure of staying in this area again, we will definitely return. Accommodations are clean and inviting. The hosts are warm and friendly. Peggy offered great advice for dinner options and things to do in the area. Breakfast can't be beat...more than ample and quite delicious. Peggy even offered to...

I wanted to do something special for my sweetheart for his birthday and a weekend away seemed to be what we both needed. From the first time I contacted Peggy, the service was *impeccable*! She was accommodating, friendly and very helpful! When she found out it was for a birthday, she even offered to have a cake or bottle of...

We booked this on the basis of the reviews on this site and we absolutely loved it. We found Peggy's directions very easy to follow. We stayed in the Roiel room, which is gorgeous, and had a wonderful 3 night stay. Peggy and Layne are such warm and welcoming people and we loved the dogs - and also their 3...

First of all, I have to disagree with the previous writer, the Inn is very easy to find and very close to 101, still in a quiet, almost rural area. The grounds were splendid, in particular since it was not even spring yet. This place has the most lovely hosts you could imagine. As we needed to attend an afternoon...

After finding the inn, which is a bit difficult (don't rely on your own google maps research, instead you should follow the hints on the website) it was a nice stay in Port Angeles. Not only the restaurant recommendation was good, also the inn itself - says an odd old-fashioned traveler from europe. This place gets a thumbs up without...

We needed one night before catching the ferry to Victoria. Our first attraction was their dogs as we always miss our own. Next were all the impressive reviews. We couldn't agree more. Peggy and Layne were so helpful, the room great and the breakfast sublime. Hikers start your day a little later. September 2007. Tim and Kathi Sweeney

We booked a room at the Rooster based on earlier Trip Advisor reviews, and spoke directly with both Peggy and Layne who helped us select a room based on what we were looking for: a comfortable stay in a quiet location. We got all that and more! We stayed four nights in the Madison Room -- lovingly and charmingly decorated,...

We are so enthusiastic about reviewing this place that we're actually still here using Peggy and Layne's wireless connection to get this out fastest! They are the kindest couple and have a beautiful house that really feels like you're staying with friends. They've given us wonderful breakfasts, fabulous restaurant recommendations, maps, and lots of excellent conversation. And what review of...
