We needed one night's accommodation close to the ferry to Victoria at a reasonable price. We chose Rooster Hill because Peggy had a single room (Jenna) with an ensuite bathroom for $109!!! A great deal! And we got more than we paid for! Yes, the room was small, and I wouldn't recommend it for a multi night stay, but it...

We concur with all the good reviews posted here. I was looking for a place convenient to Olympic National Park. Was disappointed that the Lake Crescent Lodge in it was booked and worried that this Inn would be too farm-like for my mood. Should not have judged the exterior photo, the title (Rooster Hill), or the fact that they have...

The innkeepers, Peggy and Layne, were just wonderful. They welcomed us (a group of 10 bicyclists) with open arms. They even purchased special water for us and other treats. The afternoon snacks were excellent and I just can't say enough about the wonderful breakfast they served.....out of this world.....delicious and lots of it. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed every...

We spent two nights at the Inn, using it as a base to explore beautiful Olympic National Park. We had a very nice room with a super comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom with a jetted tub for two. After a long day of hiking, soaking in the tub was delightful. The rooms have TV/DVDs and the Inn has a...

This B&B may not know it, but they are setting the standard higher for all B&B's in the area, if not the entire realm of North America. The place is friendly all over, from the decor to the two great doggies, to the outstanding hospitality of the owners. I also liked the fact that they accept B&B.COM gift certificates, once...

Outstanding, from the rooms to the breakfast to the proprietors, I can't say enough. Peggy and Layne are the friendliest most accommodating people we met on our trip. We loved the Madison room, with cable tv, there is a hot tub on the property, We left early for Victoria and Peggy fixed us a brown bag breakfast, the next day...

An excellent B and B with friendly owners and 2 wonderful dogs - Coco and Harley-Davidson. Comfy bed and a great breakfast to boot! Port Angeles is a great place to base yourself for trips to the nearby Olympic National Park, Sol Duc Hot Springs, Lake Crescent etc FYI - check out nearby Sabai Thai restaurant. A great find. We...

This place was amazing! We booked a standard room and when we arrived Peggy upgraded us to the honeymoon suite saying that "someone should get to use that jacuzzi", this is just one example of how great the owners are at making you feel comfortable and want you to enjoy your stay. Peggy really knew the area, recommended EXCELLENT restaurants,...

Our stay at The Inn at Rooster Hill was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable weekend get-a-way trips that we've taken anywhere in quite some time. The room itself was very comfortable, and the breakfasts each morning was delicious. It's location is perfect, and the decore is very comfortable. The two dogs are very well behaved, and add to...

My sister, best friend, and myself, found the Inn at Rooster Hill through a series of serendipitous turns over the internet. We thoroughly enjoyed our respite from our busy lives. The hot tub was divine, the breakfasts of the highest quality, from the build-it-yourself yogurt "sundae" bar, to the"impossible pie". We found the dogs to be most well-behaved, and affectionate,...
