We stayed here during our visit to Olympic National Park. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and restaurant on site. There is a golf course on site and pool. Location is great no matters where you’re driving too and they have ample parking on site.
My non-smoking room had a strong smoke odor. It was definitely not worth the price paid. After the trip, I saw a $199 cancellation fee on my credit card statement in addition to the charge for the three nights that I stayed. I had modified my reservation over the phone, just shifting it by one day and well in advance of the required 24 hours notice. When I called the hotel about the charge, they admitted it was their mistake and said it was a system error but argued against my credit card dispute. Unbelievable.
Located overlooking Port Angeles. Puget Sound in the distance, golf course on the backside. Outdoor heated pool and hot tub. 25 year old facility that was beautifully redone three years ago. Our room could not have been any nicer. The front desk was pleasant and helpful. Don’t be bothered by the sign for the Hotel 8 on the road leaving to the hotel.
By far the best hotel in the area. Beautiful “lodge” feeling - roaring fire in the lobby fireplace with lots of couches and comfy chairs for enjoying. Heated pool and jacuzzi - jacuzzi was big enough for 4 sets of couples to be in there and still have space away from each other. Room was large with comfortable bedding. The additional sink outside of the bathroom itself made getting ready easy. Wifi was great for us - general surfing and scrolling. Parking is easy. Staff was all very nice. We would stay again for sure.
this was a great hotel - the rooms were quite large and very clean, the beds were comfy and there's a small micro refrigerator in the room (no freezer though). Ask for a room that faces the golf course - we had a patio room and it was much, much nicer than the rooms that faced the parking lot (the patio room had chairs outside to sit in and was just lovely). the jacuzzi and pool are outdoors and nice and there's a workout room also. The lobby is amazing - I could sit there all day. And they do have a grab and go breakfast, which was handy. The biggest downside was that the wifi was non-existent. The staff said this is a problem in the town as bandwidths are throttled or something, but not being able to log on or get any work done (I ended up using my phone's hotspot) was really, really frustrating. The staff were wonderful and went way out of their way to try to help us out when an error was made with our reservation. they seem to get along well with each other and I watched them helping other people with a great attitude also. So, as long as you don't need wifi I would highly recommend this place :)…
