Very clean and close to all activities downtown, plenty of room for our family of 6. Short drive to airport. Very nice continental breakfast with hot and cold choices that everyone enjoyed. Nice staff and free parking!

Thank you for your detailed review I really appreciate your feedback. Reviews help me to know how we are doing and where we need to improve. Thank you for noting our convenient location and our great staff. The Utah Liquor Laws can be confusing to visitors. When ordering alcohol in the bar you do have to order food. However, if...

Amazing stay! From the moment I walked in the staff was great and so was the room. I will definitely be staying here again! Beds were comfortable and we had a great view from our room. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel was average. Rooms were clean but in need of updating. Breakfast which was included was okay but hard to get anytype of food for late night. I asked about that and was told I could order delivery from a pizza place which would come to front desk, they would let me know and then send up the delivery person....

Thank you for your review of the Hyatt Place Salt Lake City Downtown. I am disappointed that you did not enjoy your stay with us more. We recently received all new beds and couches for all of our rooms. I am very sorry for the misunderstanding in regards to our 24/7 room service. I will do some retraining with our...

We've been on a cross-country road trip, staying at a number of different brands of hotels --- the Hyatt Place in Salt Lake was our best lodging experience thus far. The hotel (and our room) was very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was a cut above most other chains. The hotel is conveniently located...

This hotel isn't that old and the room does show some wear if you look closely. It's very clean though. The employees are very friendly. The hotel about 5 blocks away from a homeless shelter so it could be said that its in a "bad" area but the hotel is very secure and requires your key for entry to the...

I read your review, I appreciate the time you took to give me valuable feedback about your recent stay with us. We have recently received new beds and couches for all of our guest rooms and we are continually working on maintenance projects. As with most urban cities Salt Lake City does have a homeless population. The city recently elected...

My positive first impression just continued to grow and grow during my two night stay at this conveniently located hotel, close to the Trax and many attractions. The people at the Front Desk are tops, extremely helpful with directions and recommendations about the area. They supplied things like lotion (not standard in the rooms), a fresh apple after the breakfast...

Nice new hotel in downtown Salt Lake City. We really liked the layout of this 2 queens bed room. Close to light/commuter train stations. The buffet breakfast was excellent...lots of choices with some unique items you don't normally see. We were on the six floor and hand a nice view of the State Capitol Building. I do get a kick...

The rooms are clean and quite, there is a small breakfast included and there is free parking. The Hyatt is located within walking distance of downtown and is only a couple of blocks from a transit platform. It was in the upper 90's so the free water and lemonade in the lobby was a plus.

Hotel is as nice as any Hyatt Place we have stayed. We have been here several times and each time we return the area is more desolate. The Gateway Shopping Center was once a popular and happening place to visit and it is slowly turning into a ghost town. This clearly isn't Hyatt's fault but it makes it less desirable...
