Super hotel and an awesome. They texted me when I got to my room and have texted checking in on me. I asked for a bathrobe and they sent it up Stat! The room and bed were also super, highly recommended for business or leisure travelers. Also a good bar and wine selection.

Spent a couple of nights here. Hotel was exceptionally clean and quiet. Room was large. Hot tub was nice also. Front desk staff was helpful and polite. Parking is in an underground garage but very well lit with designated parking for Hilton guests. Short walk to a large indoor/outdoor mall. Great views from our 17th floor room.

This property is within walking distance of the Convention Center and many dining options. My bed was quite comfortable and the room was certainly adequate for a short stay. There is a quirky keypad code system for the elevators, but the digital key on the Hilton app worked like a charm. I was a bit disappointed that you had to request room cleaning — someone failed to tell me at check-in — so, I was not able to receive new towels, have the trash collected, and other standard services (even though I called the front desk to check on room cleaning).

Overnight stay for family of 6 - I made a last-minute reservation after calling the hotel directly to make sure they could accommodate 2 rooms that connected. 1 King room and 1 room with 2 queens. I was on the phone for over 30 minutes making this reservation and confirmed multiple times the connecting rooms would be available. I made it very clear that if they didn't have them available I would NOT make the reservation. I was assured everything would be as requested. I arrived at check in the next day and verified we had connecting rooms at the front desk. When we went to our rooms we found that they were next to each other but not connected, they both connected to rooms on the opposite side.. I went back to the front desk and after a few minutes they found 2 connecting rooms but they didnt have enough beds so he offered to send in a roll away bed free of charge. I accepted since we were already down there.. We left the hotel for about 90 minutes and when we returned the roll away bed was still not in the room. I called the front desk and they sent it up after another 10-15 minutes. We went up to the executive lounge to get some snacks and it was really picked through, not much except soda available. My kids wanted hot chocolate from the machine but when we selected that option it only had hot milk.. Needless to say the lounge was a dissapointment. We went back to the room to call it a night and the roll away bed wasnt big enough for 2 kids to sleep on and it ended up being a nightmare.. We left the hotel around midnight and went home. I notified the hotel we were leaving and they offered me some points due to the issue, I accepted the points.. Its a month later now and no points have been awarded. Im done with this property.

Dear 776wesf, Thank you for taking the time to share your review. It truly disappoints us to hear your stay did not go as smoothly as we had intended. We only want the best for our valued guests and members, and clearly we missed the mark this time. We've shared the key points you highlighted with our team to use as training tools and step up our service delivery. We will continue to focus our efforts, and we hope the next time you are in the area you will allow us a second chance to deliver the stay you deserve.

This is my 3rd time staying at this hotel, this time for a 5-night stay while on a business trip. Overall had a very good experience. My king room on the 7th floor faced the main entrance and was spacious and comfortable. On my previous stays, the rooms were showing more wear and tear. However, this time my room was in good shape.

Wifi in my room worked seamlessly and allowed me to conduct my Zoom meetings without any issues. The air conditioning worked very well despite the hot late-June temperatures and a west facing room. Housekeeping was still on demand, though unlike previous stays rooms are now automatically serviced on the 5th day for longer stays unless you opt out. The staff overall was friendly and helpful.

In the lobby, there is a convenient place to get coffee and breakfast items that was open everyday at 6:30AM. The hotel is located in the downtown area within walking distance of many restaurants, City Creek Mall, and the convention center.

I picked this hotel because of the 4 stars. This hotel was anything but 4 stars. First they had teams from a soccer tournament staying at the hotel. No parents or kids where wearing masks. Actually I saw very few people except hotel staff wearing masks. The room we stayed in had paper thin walls after a 13 hour drive all I wanted to do was sleep but I couldn’t because there where children running the hallways slamming doors and even the room next to us tried to enter our room they have adjoining doors and every time our very loud neighbors would slam the door my dog would bark waking my child and rest of family up. I had to call the front desk three times to have them tell my neighbors to stop yelling and to be quiet they said they sent security up. Finally they where quite around 2 am. The next thing I called the front desk in afternoon we where out all day and asked if they can please make sure to move us rooms the front desk girl was rude and she cared more about my dog being in room. Which I told the front desk when I checked in I have a service dog with me she proceeded to tell me that I was lying and that I did not tell the front desk my family had to verify that I told the front desk when I checked in. She did not care about the horrible experience I had the night before. I did not even bother at this point to change rooms because of her rude attitude. Luckily the people next door checked out and we where able to get sleep. Overall I will never stay at this hotel again. For being in a pandemic no one seemed to care about masks or 6 feet apart.

Where to start?! Maybe, I should start with the first room we received with dirty sheets or maybe the second room we got with food in the sheets. Or the ten other maintenance issues wrong with the room. I’ll just finish up with electrical plug cover missing with my three year old playing in the room. Never again. Hilton needs to crack down on the house keeping and maintenance here. COVID doesn’t stop employees to provide clean sheets or making sure there is more than one working toilet in the women’s lobby bathroom. Please do not use COVID as your excuse!!

Why do I stay at Hilton hotels? I ask myself that every time it happens. I walk in, get a snooty attitude at the front desk, have to pay $18 a day for parking, walk into a room with a low ceiling, banged up furniture, a previous guest's socks under the ottoman, food crumbs between the cushions of the sitting chair, no microwave, and no complimentary food options in the morning. All this for $30/night more than several other hotel options that offer the same room quality with more free amenities. Staying at a Hilton hotel makes me feel like an ignorant consumer. I don't like that feeling. I'm done with Hilton hotels.

My husband and I stayed here for a work trip. So glad we did!
Our flight landed in the morning so I called for an early check-in but it wasn't available. The gentleman working at the front desk knew I was just killing time waiting for my room so he kindly took the extra step and called me as soon at it was ready. I really appreciated that as I was eager to get to my room after a long (and early) morning of flying. The bed is super comfortable. The rooms are quiet.
Traveling during covid is obviously uncomfortable. I felt like Hilton was doing everything they good to ensure our safety during our stay. Rooms were impeccably clean, partitions up at the front desk, and yes that also means no pool and the restaurants are closed.
It's location is perfect. I walked around the corner to get a fantastic manicure, walked to Red Rock brewery for lunch and we had a great view. Christopher's Steakhouse across the street at the Peery hotel was really a special meal. Squatters Brewery, Spitz, and Pretty Bird are also fantastic!
We will definitely be back!

The rooms are old with old furnishings. Plumbing issues, light issues plug issues. It goes on-on. The city, was on the news every night, and most of the Southwest are facing a water shortage. I had told them my tub facet was running steady slow stream. Not dripping! The quick fix was to tighten the handles more. Didn’t work. The noise was enough to hear in middle of night. 2nd call no response. Light bulb missing in hall area, semi shortage in fixture? electric plug for computer pulled out of fixture. Never asked for room cleaning, took care of it, only asked for coffee, towels etc… One housekeeper very poor English and had a”dip” of chew, tobacco in mouth. Front desk staff was helpful and lobby was clean. Only reason i gave it 2 stars. Titanium Marriott traveler that has become Diamond in short time With Hilton. I have traveled for over 20+ year’s. This goes in top 3 worst hotels.

Is there room service available
Answer from Jim R
You would take TRAX to the Gallavan Plaza stop, which is located on Main Street, just one block east of the hotel.

I didn’t stay at the Hilton in San Diego, but I’d be amazed if they refused cash. Give them a call to confirm. Then you’d know for sure.

Do you have parking for an RV?
Answer from Jim R
Hi...sorry for such a late response. Unfortunately we do not have RV parking available at the hotel, but directly across the street from the hotel, is a large open lot that would accommodate an RV nicely. It is a city owned lot with a self-service payment kiosk. We recommend all RV and higher vehicle owners to this lot.
