Grandpa and Grandma planned a fun weekend with our tween granddaughters on the coast. Plan: stay in comfy, fun hotel with a nice view so we could visit local Aquarium and Schlitterbahn-and eat seafood and play. As you know, plans these days are often spoiled...More
The hotel has to look of high class but affordable, only 209.00 the night for a king bed plus taxes. Paid for their breakfast bar but included the omelets we ordered even though there was scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, a variety of breads (including...More

Thank you for writing this amazing review regarding your recent stay. We were delighted to hear you enjoyed the breakfast buffet, views, and bed comfort. We hope you will return soon to enjoy these amenities once again. Thank you for business.
We stayed here as part of our relocation to Corpus Christi looking for housing.

Good Hotel. But disappointed as not mentioned had parking fee. It was a Memorial day weekend so very busy! Did not get the room type we booked for and had two rooms reserved at the time of booking but were offered on different floors.

I have not had the need to stay there since October, so I don't know about renovations. If you are concerned about hurricane damage, I stayed there after the storm and all looked fine. The beaches are recovering. I don't know what the cost was in terms of sand loss, however it took months for the water to be at normal levels along the bay near CC. Indian Point, between Portland and Corpus Christi has been open for a while now and the birding there in the early morning hours is not to be missed if you are in to nature. Corpus Christi was on the cleaner side of the storm. They received loss of services and some wind, but the full force of the hurricane came in about 30 miles east north east, and that means a great deal in terms of impact.
