Kara & Steve are lovely - personable, caring and knowledgeable. Food was great - yummy and fresh! Beds were really big and comfy. Residences were lovely. Casita was perfect. What else can we say? Consider staying here en-route to somewhere else or as your end destination. If we return, we won't hesitate to return there!

You truly summed up all that we try to provide to each of our guests! We know these are all things we look for when we are away from home. So glad that all your needs were well taken care of and we hope that you truly will make it our way again soon. More

My husband and I arrived at the B&B and the moment we went inside we felt like we were home. Kara and Steve our host thought of everything down to the last detail. They provided details of the area activities transportation and place to eat near by. The home was beautifully decorated and renovated by them. Our room was perfect... More

Thank you so much for spending time with us and enjoying our "homey" bed and breakfast. We truly are so close to so many of the great things Albuquerque has to offer that you can walk almost anywhere you want to go. We so enjoyed hosting you and hope you can come again for another visit soon. More

We stopped here for one night and when I booked it, I did not realise that it was a Spy house. What a history! We're now going to visit Los Alamos. B and B is offered but what is not made clear is that you have the run of the house, kitchen and garden. Beer, cookies, drinks are provided to... More

So glad you enjoyed the grounds and all our special amenities. We apologize if you found the bed in the Gold Room a little uncomfortable to climb into. It is a vintage bed that we provide a cute step stool to and is part of the artistic decor of the room. It is the only bed that is a higher... More

We wanted a short get-a-way from home without having to go to another city. We experienced a GEM in the middle of Albuquerque!! Kara & Steve's place is a slice of heaven to those traveling from far and NEAR. Breakfasts were mouth watering and unhurried. Room and bathroom - Clean, clean, clean and comfortable! Hot tub was nice and clean.... More

Being able to provide our local guests a home away from home is such a treat. It is good to get away and unwind from your everyday life and our place is the perfect place to do that. It is also good to be pampered in the morning with an amazing breakfast, something we make a priority. So glad you... More

My wife and I had a great time staying in the Heritage House. Everything was great. Good food. The decoration is amazing. The hospitality of Kara and her family was wonderful. Walking distance to restaurants and bars.

We are history buffs and we loved this historic B&B near downtown Albuquerque. We stayed in the Spy House, where the Greenglasses passed nuclear information to the Soviets (in conjunction with their in-laws, the Rosenburgs). The rooms were comfortable, and the sitting room is furnished with historical information about the house and is a great place to sit and visit.... More

The history is such a huge part of the experience when you come to stay with us and we are so glad that you enjoyed finding out about it. I hope you can come again and maybe you can stay in the Greenglass room and actually stay in the room where it all happened. More

Cara was a very wonderful, warm and helpful manager. She had information on the house, on the local area, museums and restaurants, and went out of her way to be very helpful. The breakfast she served was extremely good. Very impressed!

Everything was good. Clean. Quiet. Comfortable. Delicious breakfast. Walking distance to restaurants. This one of our stops on Route 66 while traveling from Cincinnati to Grand Canyon. Three hour drive to Petrified National Forest, then three more hours to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. I would stay here again and recommend to others. Thanks for a delicious breakfast,... More

I had a great time staying in their Spy House where you sleep with the ghosts of cold war spies. The rooms are well decorated, the bathroom was great, and the food was delicious. Kara makes delicious breakfasts and gave great suggestions for places to go.

The term "Bed and Breakfast" falls far short of describing a stay at the Downtown Historic B&B. While the beds are amazingly comfortable and the breakfast equally enriching and wonderful, that's just the beginning of the amenities that make this place so spectacular. Kara and Steve along and with their children graciously provide a true home away from home for... More
