HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 8 September 2016

Good location. About 15 minutes from the University; worth the extra drive. Everything expected to be in the room was there; plenty of towels, iron, ironing board. The room was clean and even the carpet felt clean to the bare foot. Handicap room was accessible and functioning. Pretty good continental breakfast, not just cold cereal and bread. Overall good experience.

The listing stated it was 1 mile from the university and it was about 17 minutes from campus and on a frontage road to the highway outside of town. Bathroom was disgusting and had mold and patched wallpaper and filthy grout. Smoke smell lingering from prior years of smoking, hallway carpets way past their lifespan. Even the kids, typically ok...

I got a room in the third floor and as soon as the elevator opened its doors. The whole floor smelled weird. When i got to my room everything was okay, except that the couch was supposed to be light brown and it was dark stained like it hadnt been cleaned in years

I checked in to Howard Johnson's planning to stay two nights, but ended up here almost two weeks. I travel and stay at hotels quite often and rarely do they encompass that warm welcome atmosphere. This is one of those rare places, I was always greeted by my name by Vangie, and Mike. The housekeeper Maria was always friendly. In...

We got a really cheap room here, the room was clean, the beds were ok, as well as the pillows. We were in the back on third floor, road noise wasn't bad. The breakfast was not good though. Staff was helpful and friendly. We would stay again due to value. Very reasonable, but definite two star.

Clean and comfortable. Breakfast that comes with the room was one of the best I have had at a hotel/motel in a long time. Easy on and off to get to the highway. I see they are working on their outdoor pool so that will be nice in the future.
