This was avery nice updated Route 66 motel with a modern bath and comfortable beds. The staff was very helpful and the location very good to Old Town. They provided rags for us to clean our motorcycles. The wi-fi was somewhat slow.

Great motel, large room, very clean and comfortable. Has a guest laundry room and heated outdoor pool. Staff very helpful. Within walking distance of the beautiful Old Town, where there are lots of interesting shops and restaurants. We ate at High Noon which was very good.

We were in town recently for our daughters concert at UNM as well as the football game and stayed at the Monterrey Hotel. Usually we stay at the Parq Central but due to the Ballon Fiesta it was full. What a pleasant surprise. The hotel has only 15 rooms and you are assigned a parking spot corresponding to the room...

We love non-chain motels like this, and were prepared to love this one too. And we almost did, but the location did us in: the street is very noisy, and while it's an easy walk to Old Town it's not a pleasant one. (While we were there, the road was under construction. But I'm not complaining about the construction noise,...

This is an iconic well kept ma & pa type motel along Our Mother Road. This is a repeat stay for us. We were pleasantly surprised the first tiem we stayed. And our return stay was not disappointed. Within walking distance or easy driving distance to Albuquerque Old Town. There is even a nicely located and used twice car wash...

Best hidden secret in Albuquerque, NM. Stayed two nights then returned later for one. Rooms are spacious, clean, quite, and very comfortable. We've stayed in many hotels over the 51 years. Wish they were all like this, through back, neon sign hotel. Located about 2 blocks from Old Town. For the price and location you can't beat the convenience. The...

Comfy retro room and heated pool made for a good experience at the motel. Close proximity to cafe, restaurant and Plaza meant a quick and easy walk to most everywhere. Also a straight-shot drive to Nob Hill and the funky Route 66 shops and restaurants. We ate at Lindy's Diner and food was great and atmosphere and decode just perfect....

Looks modest from the outside but the rooms are great. Location a++ for the old town, you can walk anywhere in the old town from here. Very quiet and the host Henry is very friendly. Highly recommended.

I didn't know this was considered retro. It's a nice, clean, affordable hotel that is close to the plaza, the botanic gardens and the zoo. It's on Highway 66 so that was kinda fun. Didn't use the pool, but it looked nice.

This place will take you back a few years. It is not an upscale hotel, but it is a family owned motel. The rooms were spotless. The pool was very nice. It's just a cozy stop with great access to Old Town. The owners are very friendly and take pride in their little motel. I would definitely stay here again.
