Good place to crash and sleep.front desk lady was helpful and nice. Room was comfortable with clean sheets. Bath towels were postage stamp sized tiny. Clean,no frills joint, not a place to hang out for long but good for a safe night

This is not a luxury resort by any means, but if you're looking for luxury, Crescent City is not the place for you. The hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious, and the owner is a gem with all sorts of advice about places to eat, etc. We found sand dollars galore at the south end of Crescent Beach and...

Smells. Stark room. Thin walls. Bed and linens from ??? Not sure where these good ratings are coming from. I don't mind an older motel but wow, this is the bare essentials. Rooms were hard to come by on this night so we decided to give this one a try because of the trip advisor ratings. A rare time when...

I booked this motel for a large group of female motorcyclists and we were thrilled to arrive and find spacious CLEAN rooms, free wifi and food across the street! The rooms had nice beds and linens, good towels and all things necessary for a nice shower. We had stayed the previous night in a place that had none of the...

Rooms are spacious and clean. not much of a view but a great value for the price. The story is also quite cool- that the same tree was used in all the rooms, when building the inn. Dont know if its true, but its cute non the less.

It's said that the motel was built from a single redwood tree. That alone made me want to stay there. I was surprised at the spacious room. This motel was built in the early 50s. I'm a big fan of vintage motels, and if you are, you'll love this place. The room was very clean and basic with no refrigerator,...

We stayed here one night on our way down the California coast. The rooms were big and clean. I loved the flowers outside and the big grassy expanse where the kids stretched their legs. I'm crazy about vintage stuff and this motel is no exception. Loved it and the free wifi.

We really enjoyed our stay in Cresent City. The Curly Redwood is right out of another time but well worth the $. We used it as home base while we took in the sights - be sure to hike in the redwoods and walk along the beach. Good fish and chips across the hwy. The lodge is old but nicely...

When we checked in, the man working at the front desk was very helpful. He told us of some interesting things to see in the area and the pretty drives and hike in the state and national parks. Later on, there was a woman behind the counter, and she filled me in on the history of the inn, how the...

This place is really a great find in Crescent City. Super clean and well cared for historic hotel. It is in great condition, comfortable beds, large rooms and friendly staff. Right on the main highway, across from the Marina, views of the lighthouse in the distance and a good restaurant right across the street. This place is historic, so don't...
