Friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and adequate. Air circulation a plus. A very good location with South Beach and harbor a short walk. I have stayed here many times and it is a good value for a budget minded person.
As a Wyndham diamond memeber I’m accustomed to great service! I never imagined the treatment I got at the Super 8 in Cresent City! When booking I was assured my service dog would be welcomed! Not the case! Quite contrary! I was reluctantly given a room after pleading my case, the room smelled of cat urine! There were posted signs on the only accessible place to walk my dog to potty saying “ no dogs” adding insult to injury the door didn’t latch and lock properly and blew wide open at 4 am!!!! And then they claimed I broke there toilet and charged me an additional 150!!!! Unbelievable!!!! The manager came from a county with a caste system and the only conclusion I can draw from this is that since I was an unaccompanied and disabled woman traveling with a service animal so I was from a “lesser” form of humanity and she could heal her contempt onto me! I can’t believe this happened in America, to a dining memeber of Wyndham and as a woman with PTSD it was quite traumatic not to mean nation extremely expensive especially with the additional 150 dollars charged to me for their supposedly broken toilet! Please avoid this hotel for your safety!!!…
Do not stay here unless you absolutely have to. I checked in and upon inspection of my room found bugs on the box spring. I decided to leave to another hotel after only having been there for about 10min inspecting the room. the receptionist/owner did give me a refund although she CHARGED me for messing up the bedding so she can have a maid remake everything and rent it to the next guest! Sleepers beware.
This dump not only had sexual graffiti on the electrical outlet but, was using pieces of old wood stuffed in the windows for security and the toilets backed up. Staff wouldn't cleanup, put us in another room, or even refund. I will never stay at this place again!!!
The room was clean. Price was very inexpensive. I booked it because it was "pet friendly" I found that PET friendly should be better defined. Pets means Dogs not Cats (which I understand) Should have been advertised as dogs less than 40 Pounds. instead of Pet Friendly. The outside pet/dog area was flooded. They wisely have a section of rooms for dogs and smokers. Non smokers and No Pet travelers will have the "cleaner" rooms. ( A good thing). The rooms are carpeted. Frankly, I think Dog friendly rooms should have vinyl floors. Can you imagine how staff can possibly keep carpet sanitary with dogs. If one has a accident, future males will likely want to mark the spot. Friendly means $15 more per dog. Was great full to have place for my dog. Not sure if the Carpet was a good option.…
