Stayed 1 night as we were traveling Pacific coast and looking for affordable, clean, comfy and safe rooms. It fit all requirements. Breakfast typical. Large room, bed comfy, however pillows were tiny. Would definitely recommend. Did not check out any other amenities.
The hotel appeared neat and clean on the exterior, but when we checked into our room we were disappointed in our room. Although the room was clean, it was dated and worst of all they had used (overused ) scented cleaners to which I was...More
We had a very pleasant three-night stay in this hotel recently while seeing the redwoods for the first time. We loved that the pet-friendly room had a sliding door to the outside grassy area (and so did our dog!) The staff was friendly, room was...More
My house in Crescent City caught fire in July 2014 and i have been here since. I tried two other pet friendly hotels in town but was disapointed, to say the least. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are clean, breakfast yummy. Plenty of...More
The Quality Inn was very clean and the bed was comfortable. While not fancy, I was pleasantly surprised that it was so clean. Front desk clerk was very helpful. I also felt safe as I was traveling solo and arrived after dark with no reservation

Since I was there only during early May, I suggest you check the Crescent City, CA city website for info on type and placement of July 4 activities. There is a very distant horn that sounds about every 30 seconds at night and when foggy but I didn't hear it from my room. Best wishes.

I would call the hotel lobby and talk with the supervisor. They would know best where the festivities are held in relation to their hotel. The hotel has a courtyard that all rooms enter from, but we did not hear noise from the courtyard at all in either of the 2nd story rooms we stayed in. There was a graduation in town the first night we stayed with no noise problems. Hopefully that helps!
