Great location just a walk away from downtown Estes Park--but very quiet and wonderful views everywhere. The cabin was spotless; the beds very comfortable. There is lots of outdoor furniture so that you can enjoy the views.

We were in Estes Park for a wedding and really enjoyed our stay at River Rock Cottages. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was very functional, and the location was great. The walk to the main street was just under 5 minutes so we didn't have to get involved in traffic/parking hassles yet the area was quiet at night....

This is our second year we have visited Estes Park. Both times we stayed at this location. Normally I don't write reviews about positive experiences, but was very pleased with our stay, and wanted to share. Both times my wife and I stayed here for 5 nights, 4 days. Can't wait to bring the kids up here when they are...

Our family has visited River Rock Cottages many times over the past few years, and everyone loves it. My children (4 & 6) can't wait to go back! We love the property and how close it is to town. The owners always make us feel at home and welcome our kids with great enthusiasm. We have stayed in 3 of...

We booked our stay to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday. Unfortunately, I wish we would have stayed elsewhere. Upon arrival the owner stormed over and without even giving a friendly hello or welcome, he instead started scolding the kids and going into a rant about how they needed to stay off the rocks and not climb on them. I'm sorry...

We spent a long weekend in Estes at the River Rock Cottages. They are just a short walk from downtown Estes, and though there was a festival going on downtown, they were very quiet. The cabins are extremely well maintained and clean. We were in the Fern Lake cottage, and both bedrooms were well sized. Beds were comfortable and the...

We stayed in the Aspen, which is great for 2-4 people. The bed is comfortable, and even the sofa sleeper is a nice one - much better than others I had tried. The town is a quaint place with a nice small-town feel and the usual tourist type shops and artisan goods. It is extremely close to the breathtaking rocky...

We stayed in wapiti cottage for 6nights from 15th July 2012. Our first time in the Rockies and what an experience. Estes is just an adorable town with a lovely friendly atmosphere and scenery to match. Wapiti cottage was a nice enough little cottage but could do with a bit of an updating. It had such a beautiful big fireplace...

We really enjoyed staying at the Aspen cottage. It was very clean and comfortable. It's close to downtown, and also near Lumpy Ridge where we did some hiking up to Gem Lake and Twin Owls. We lost our key and Terry was there in an instant to let us in and get us a replacement key. We will definitely stay...

Our family reunion was a huge success at the Cottages. Quaint, clean, comfortable and well equipped cottages where great, the common area was perfect for kids to play, visit and eat all of our meals! Great hospitality and local recommendations from wonderful owners, we look forward to our next visit!
