Years ago we drove past the Taharaa and stopped in to get a closer look. Everything about the lodge was delightful, and we knew we'd return to stay. We suggested the lodge to relatives (from NYC) who loved it, and we gave my parents a...More

I am not sure what their policy is for holding a reception at Taharaa and reserving four rooms. We held our wedding and reception there and went with the option to reserve all of the rooms and had our family and wedding party stay there with us for two nights. Some of the rooms have a pull out couch in them, for our party those were ideal for families with kiddos. I think you could have three adults in a room and four would probably be cozy. The rooms are spacious in my opinion. Overall, I would say to reach out to the staff and talk with them about what you are looking for and your overall goals for your event. I had an incredible experience working with them and would highly recommend the staff and the venue.
Downtown Estes Park is about 4 miles from both the North and South Entrances to Rocky Mountain Nat. Park. As of now all of the park except Trail Ridge Road is open and accessible via car, bike, walking.
