We loved this old lodge. We stayed in one of the cabins, so don't know what the lodge rooms are like. Our cabin was roomy, comfortable, and warm. The lodge itself has large public areas that are full of quirky history, and comfortable places to...More

First of all, this hotel is farther out from the city centre than other hotels. Our GPS could not recognize the address and kept telling us to turn back at a certain point in a residential area. Fortunately we found someone at a visitors’ center...More

I overheard them telling someone that they prefer reservations so that they can plan accordingly. They have a large dining area but the lodging and those overnight residents create the major workload for the crew of young staff. Breakfast is included if you stay overnight and the day I was there it was very busy. I think lunch or dinner is not as crowded. If you are in the area and want to have a meal there I would recommend a reservation to be safe.
