I don't normally take time to write reviews, but I honestly don't know how this place has 4/5 stars on Tripadvisor. I hope that maybe writing this review saves someone from wasting their money at this place, and it will make me sleep easier at night knowing I helped someone. Overall this place is just old and dirty and loud,... More

I could not get a room where my conference is held. I had trouble finding a room at all! The Baldpate Inn was a pleasant surprise. They have a second story deck over looking the forest and mountains. I felt like I was in a tree house! The cabin was a bit of a downhill climb. I was offered help... More

This place is falling apart! Yes I understand that the building is almost 100 years old but its like the owner does NO up keep! Not to mention I did not feel safe due to the fact that I couldn't even walk down the hall without basically falling in half because it is so uneven. The showers randomly get hot... More

The Baldpate Inn is not for everyone. If you like the feel of a more rustic Bed and Breakfast in the mountains this might be the place for you. There are nice communal areas and a very interesting key collection room. The outdoor porch area is lovely to relax and watch the scenery and hummingbirds and is my favorite part... More

A lit fireplace in the common room. A covered large porch, with rockers, for great viewing. This 100 year old B&B has the rustic "Old West" charm you are looking just far enough away from Estes Park (across the street from the RMNP's Lily Lake). We had to leave before breakfast but that was OK because the made a to... More

Staff was super friendly, breakfast was incredible, views were breathtaking, and it was very clean! I was so impressed! You have to stay here for sure. Louis checked us in at midnight which was great! We had noisy neighbors but it was okay. This place is not for uptight & obnoxious people! Enjoy!!

This is a super charming, 100 year old inn/B&B very close to Estes Park but away from the hustle and bustle. I found it completely great, definitely unlike most places I've stayed before. BUT, it is not a luxury resort. The rooms are very small, most (all?) don't have bathrooms in the room (they're shared for the floor) and the... More

I read the reviews prior to booking, and knew it was a historic place with a lot of charm and thought I'd give it a try. Booked on a third party website, specifically booking twin beds with a bathroom (not shared). Got there early, and the staff was friendly. They took us to our room, and then showed us the... More

Lovely stay with lovely staff. This is not a modern facility, but for the age and style, the charm makes up for the lack of other amenities. The food is amazing and tasteful. We were so full after a few days we have stopped eating altogether, just to let our bodies catch up with the amount we were served.

If you are looking for a B & B that feels more like your home than a public establishment, then Baldpate Inn is for you. Food that is home made in every aspect, rooms that are impeccably clean, views that are beyond imagination, an atmosphere that provides an avenue for total relaxation, it's all here, and more. Imagine dining in... More
