This was our first time visiting in February. What a treat. Brat was there to greet us as we got to the cabin. Just a relaxing time. Weather was perfect and did a few things in the park along with some beautiful photos. If we lived closer we would be here more frequently (weather permitting). However, we have 1000 miles...

We stayed at McGregor Mountain Lodge for the first time this past President's weekend. We loved it! It was very clean, had great views, and a wonderful fireplace. The staff and owner were very nice and accomodating. We got to see elk every morning and a great bonus was free chocolate chip cookies everyday! We already booked our summer and...

Thanks Sheryl for taking the time to share with others of your experience here at McGregor. We certainly feel blessed to share this little piece of heaven with people from all over the world, and glad you found us too! The animals are such a joy to be around, and remind me every day of the beauty that surrounds, but...

We need some rest and relaxation. My husband and I had been working so hard and on the go so much that we decided on a break. I am so happy with my choice of bookings - we were not rushed by anything. We enjoyed all the people at the lodge - very nice and happy to help. The cabins...

Angela, So glad that you all found us and were able to "recharge" a little bit. We love it when ppl come into our office tired, a little bedraggled, and ready to get their batteries recharged again. It says it all when there is a smile upon face upon leaving, and you're looking forward to the next opportunity to come...

Five stayed at the Ponderosa Cabin. Plenty of room, pull out bed was an air mattress. About half a mile to the Fall River Welcome Center and three miles to Estes Park. Two bull elk make the grounds their home. An impressive sight to see close up. Wood fireplaces add to the coziness, a bundle of wood is provided each...

This little gem tucked into the hillside between Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park provided my family with a clean and comfy place to R and R. The staff is pleasant and knowledgeable, making us feel welcome. The cozy fireplace and comfortable furniture made arriving back from a cold day so relaxing. Our first morning there was a very...

We have stayed here a few times and always enjoy it. Staff is very friendly. A couple of elk call the grounds home so don't b surprised to look out the window and b face to face with them. Cabins have kitchens and fireplaces. It's quiet and has great mountain views. About ten minutes to town.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review of your stay here at McGregor. Always enjoy hearing from repeat guests their experiences. The elk sure make all of us feel welcome and a part of their home as much as they are a part of ours. Few snowy days around the property, but the sun is finally breaking out...

Our family getaway was a delight. Beautifully maintained cabins, attentive hosts, and great views. We were warm and cozy while the December wind blew at 50-80mph. Made some beautiful memories, and plan to be back for more. Thank you, McGregor.

When we arrived Brigid the resident manager was there to greet us and get us settled in. Our car couldn't make it up the hill that night because of the snow so they were kind enough to load our luggage into their truck and get us to our destination. The cabin was warm and comfortable a real pleasant place to...

Visited McGregor Mountain Lodge just before Christmas. Ran into big snowstorm and was a little late getting here. Bridgette called to ask if we were OK and if she should keep the lights on for us. We arrived 15 minutes later and she was plowing but the snow was winning. After a quick checkin we went to the cabin. Complementary...

Well..I give you all a big shout out for being patient with us as we assisted getting you to your cabin during a snowstorm...I don't know how, but it does seem to be fairly frequent that snow storms come in on Friday evenings when everyone is arriving. Ha, why is that? anyway, I'm grateful you had a good time, and...

This is our second time staying here. The first time (2014) we stayed in the Cedar Lodge Suite and this visit was the Ponderosa Cottage. Very friendly staff including the 4 legged staff members. This place is pet friendly (Ponderosa Cottage). Make sure to tell owner during reservations that you need a pet friendly room. Great views all around. The...
