We loved staying here. Cabin 7 was sufficiently roomy and the insulation was good enough to block out all but minor noise coming from the adjacent highway. (Noise evidently can be an issue in some other rooms.) Despite being classified as "specialty lodging", this had all of the true hotel amenities, including a regular-sized bathroom with a very good tub/shower....

Tom and Vicki! Thanks for taking the time in writing a review on your stay with us at McGregor! We are glad you enjoyed your time here. We just received our first real significant snow of the season which means we see a lot more wildlife down and around the cabins as well as an increase in the bird activity...

We celebrated our 25 wedding anniversary by enjoying the Sweetheart Package. This was absolutely awesome. The backyard is the Rocky Mountain National Park. Want to see Elk or Big Horn Sheep, just look out the window of your cabin. If you are thinking a drafty dark cabin, you are totally wrong. They have been lovingly remodelled and upgraded, the windows...

Cindy, So glad to have you with us for your 25th wedding anniversary...and thanks for the kind words. It is always fun to see the multitude of birds at the feeders of every cabin, especially after a significant snow like last night. We hope we made your anniversary one to never forget! Have a wonderful holiday season! Chris, Michael, Susan,...

A friend and his pup came for a quick two-day visit and my leased residence does not allow pets. We booked one of the pet-friendly cabins at McGregor Mountain Lodge and could not have been more pleased. The cabin was spacious, spotless, well-equipped, full kitchen, wood-burning fireplace (wood provided), jetted tub, and super comfortable. Everything Estes Park is famous for...

Thanks for taking the time and writing a review about your recent visit at McGregor...being dog lovers ourselves, we always know how hard it is traveling with our four-legged friends. Hopefully we'll see you (or your friends) all soon! Till then, have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and enjoy our first significant snow of the season. Chris, Michael, Susan, Amanda, Carlos,...

Four days we stayed in one of McGregor's beautiful cabins. I have come here on a number of occasions in the past and have been consistently impressed with every aspect of the lodge. I love Rocky Mountain NP, and to me, McGregor is the one place that I will ALWAYS stay at whenever I come back for a much needed...

Frank, Thanks for taking the time to write a review for others to see! We love to hear of your experience here with us at the Lodge. Indeed, winter is just around the corner as we see the return of Brat, the resident 7X7 Bull Elk, more frequent visits from the mule deer and turkeys, and expect to see the...

Looking for a last minute room, and we got lucky there was a cancellation. This was by far the quietest place we stayed, super clean, and the staff was excellent. They gave great advice for things to do off the beaten trail which was what we were looking for. Can't wait to go back and see them in the spring....

Hi Jon, Was great "sneaking you all in" for few nights this past Sept. As the snow starts to creep down from the high country to the lodge premises, we start seeing more of the big horn sheep, Elk, Deer and Turkeys (do they know Thanksgiving is coming!?!) Certainly do hope to see you all for a longer stay this...

I am writing this review nearly a year after staying at Mcgregor, but in my defense, I've had a baby plus have been running after my 3 year old. ;) On to my review! We spend one week in July in The Old Caretaker’s Cottage. We love it. Great place for vacation with family. Close to National Park, not to far to the town. And what a fascinating history--that combined with the amazing service and views makes this place unforgettable! We visited in August this year, but have been in other seasons, too. Each presents its charms, but we liked this time of year best. Our kids didn't want to leave!

Hey Scottie....was great having you all here...as usual. Glad the kiddo's enjoyed it too. Always good to see you. We had a few hot days recently (in 80's) but now more bearable in the 70s Ha. Went on a mini vacation over Valentine's Day and stayed in cabin 10B. It was the most wonderful hospitality I have ever received and there were even roses and cookies on the bed! (due to Valentine's Day) The staff is fabulous and we even saw an elk that resides on the property! Would highly recommend this place to others!
