My Husband and I stayed here in early June 2015 in room 200 the Old Man Mountain suite. The price was very good for the area considering that we got a king bed, 2 bathrooms, 2 tvs with all the cable channels (including the golf channel), a huge gas fireplace, full sized fridge and private balcony. The price with tax...

Stayed in room 200, the Old man King suite. Big fridge, microwave, 2 big sofas witch can be used to sleep on. King bed upstairs, 1 bathroom with toilet and upstairs separate toilet. Nice river view. Wifi works great. Good parking. Hot tub was really hot and they offer towels. Supermarket and many restaurants just down the road. Excellent way...

Deer Crest is a unique, quiet, romantic, clean, comfortable place to stay in Estes Park. My fiancé and I stayed here for three nights to do some hiking in RMNP, which is just minutes away. We had the Fall River Suite, which has its own private entrance and is right on the river. Unfortunately, we did not get to spend...

Very clean; great location; beautiful grounds area. The park like setting with flowing creek was so peaceful! Will definitely stay here again and recommend to friends. I especially appreciated the owners being so accommodating when I requested late check out.

Traveling and visiting our daughter from Loveland, CO. Resort was very peaceful with a bubbling brook right outside The elk showing up was a bonus and the hot tub helped the muscles after long hikes. Staff was informative on places to venture to and where to avoid. It was perfect for wondering away from chaos.

We loved the location on the river and near RMNP. The owner was extremely nice. The room was very clean and right by the river. We even enjoyed the hot tub during the snowfall. They offered free hot cocoas, teas, popcorn, snowshoes, and dvd rentals from the office. They also provide charcoal for the grills on the river. What more...

My boyfriend and I visited Estes Park for my 31st birthday. One of the main reasons we booked a room at Deer Crest was because it was an "Adults Only" hotel. We wanted a quiet, relaxing place to stay so that we could enjoy nature and Deer Crest was just what we were looking for. The resort is quite small...

My husband and I stayed at this hotel this winter. Nice rooms, view of the river. We saw elk around the hotel. It was the 100th birthday celebration at Rocky Mountain national park. A short drive from the hotel to the park visitor center.

We stayed at the Deer Crest after participating in the very fun Whiskey Warm Up event that they hold each winter in Estes. It's a bit further from downtown than we've typically stayed, but it's still a very walkable distance to the main part of Estes, and it's quiet, well-kept, and beautiful. The owners are extremely nice folks, and the...

We loved everything about this cozy resort. I felt like I was staying at my Grandma's lake cabin only it was even better! (no one tell my grandma!) The furnishing are older but very comfortable and exceptionally clean. The king sized bed was firm but comfortable. The in-room gas fireplace was very charming and worked well. The bathroom looked newly...
