Our family of 5 stayed 3 nights in one of the suites (#8) and enjoyed the character of the property - not a cookie cutter hotel experience - and especially the hospitality of Peter and Ellen, the owners. We appreciated the full kitchen and saved quite a few dollars doing our breakfasts and lunches there, eating in town for dinners....

As many have noted, this is probably the lodging with the closest proximity to downtown. We walked everywhere. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The room has a comfortable bed and full kitchen. The room itself is nothing special, but it was perfect for us. They don't provide soap, shampoo, etc that you find in a normal hotel, so...

Stayed here last weekend when on a short trip to Estes Park. The price for the room was very good and the staff are very friendly. The location could not be better! Downtown Estes Park in the summer is packed and finding a parking spot is rare. Staying at Misty Mountain Lodge you can walk to downtown without a problem....

Peter and Ellen were great hosts. The nighttime marshmallow roast with other guests was fun. Peter was helpful in recommending restaurants and giving directions. I stayed in Room 17, the smallest room in the facility. While small, it was clean, had good lighting, and was equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, coffeepot, electrical strip, and fireplace. The bed was comfortable. Two...

Peter and Ellen were very gracious in accomodating our late request for a room at Misty Mountain Lodge. Room 17 was just perfect for my wife and I during our visit to Estes Park. The room was very clean, well organized and extremely convenient to my wife's sister house. Downtown was just a couple of blocks away. Parking was right...

The location was great. We walked everywhere downtown. The owners were friendly and helpful. This would be a great place for a family! They had smores every night and two hot tubs. Our room had a kitchen in it, which we didn't use but the frig, microwave, and coffee maker. It was nice and big. The only issue was there...

My wife and I stayed here for a short vacation in August. we had never stayed here before. We were pleasantly surprised. Our room was very neat and clean. The owners live onsite and are very nice. My wife was having some issues dealing with the altitude the first day, they offered some advice on how to deal with the...

This was the most comfortable place we stayed on our trip. The owners are great and the s'mores at night just top it off. Not a better place to be than Misty Mountain. If you are planning a trip to Estes Park. This is by far the Best there is. Our kids loved it there. Within walking distance to everything...

We've stayed several places in/around Estes Park, but this was by far the most convenient. Even though we had a rental van, we didn't need it most of the time since we could walk just about anywhere around town. The cabins/rooms are quaint and rustic in some cases, but they are clean. We had suite #20 and it was great...

This was my 5th. yr. staying at the "Misty Mountain Lodge." The only negative review is, having to leave such an adorable, friendly place. Each cabin is different, and suited to fit all your needs. They are absolutely warm and cozy. You feel right at home during your stay. Every night there's a campfire so all the guest come out...
