We needed to get away for the weekend and did not want to go too far. I looked at many places in Estes Park and landed on this one, sight unseen. The rooms are really, really nice and the towels are luscious! I was surprised, and pleased to see that there was no phone in the room. The continental breakfast...

There are a number of old properties in the area that need modern updates, this is not one of them. The Maxwell family both owns and operates the Inn, it is their livelihood and their passion! You can clearly see the personal touches put into making the property look good and the customers feel cared for. They were helpful, accommodating,...

Estes is an interesting town, and has really changed in the last ten years. You'll continue to see that change, including the addition of some more modern properties, I'd imagine. In order for us to remain a great destination, we continue to put work into our property and keep it as comfortable as possible. It has been an incredible journey...

My wife and two daughters, ages 6 and 8 decided to spend mothers day weekend in Estes Park. We had never stayed at the Maxwell Inn but decided to give it a try for our weekend visit to Estes Park. We had a wonderful time at the Inn and found the owner and staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating to...

My family and I have so many good things to say about the Maxwell Inn, in Estes Park. Located within walking distance to town, but nestled out of the traffic, the Maxwell Inn is spotless, stocked with large high quality towels, kids had a ball in the hot tub. The owners are very kind and jumped in to make sure...

Dana provided us an excellent stay at the inn. The rooms were super clean, the bed and pillows were excellent. Dana helped with giving us advice on the local sites, parking, and wonderful directions to the National Park, and the beautiful scenic ride back to Denver. I would definitely stay there again. The Maxwell Inn is located right on the...

Zim's - Thank you for staying with us this spring! You managed to get in and out before our huge May snowfall, and so your view of the area was a little different than some folks who arrived after you! We continue to work hard at making our place both comfortable and inviting and really appreciate you taking the time...

The Motel under current owner has been nicely remodeled. Beds are comfy. Our room was a nonsmoking room and believe the whole place my be. This is nice as my wife is allergic to cigarette smoke. The place is very clean, tidy and has a breakfast. thanks

Achiappetta - Thank you for taking the time to write a review on your stay, and for staying with us this winter. Our motel is no smoking, and we get many many guests who share that they appreciate that, as allergies (such as your wifes) are pretty common. We've worked hard to make our place simple and special and we...

DBNieto - Thank you for taking the time to review our motel! We try to make our place special and inviting for folks and we're glad that you enjoyed it. New Years is a little tough because most people want to be out late and that can impact other travelers' experience - but it's great to hear that everyone (yourselves...

Our family came to Estes for a quick little after Christmas getaway. We stayed for 2 relaxing nights! We stayed in one of the double queen rooms. The room was clean, warm and very inviting. The room had wood finishing and cute lamps throughout. I especially enjoyed the fuzzy blanket on the bed. We actually spent quite a bit of...

WillTravel - What a wonderful review, thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're glad that you enjoyed Estes in the winter - it's definitely a different place when there is snow and blowing winds. Pavel - Thank you for taking the time to write a review on our motel! Our rooms aren't the biggest, and our motel isn't the largest place in town, but we have really worked tirelessly to make it comfortable and special for people who want to stay away from the typical hotel feel type places. Great place for an early winter stay in Estes Park. We enjoyed the entire experience, from making our reservation, checking in, recommendations on where to eat and of course the room itself. IrishFan - Sometimes people ask if we pay the elk to hang around, and I really wish it was that simple!
