Our family of four stayed at Valhalla for 4 days (Aug 24 - 27) and really enjoyed it. The place was quiet and very clean. It is extremely close to Rocky Mt National Park where we hiked almost every day. We selected it because of their good reviews and their socially conscious business approach and their staff was very willing... More

We are glad you enjoyed your visit. We think our close (direct hiking) proximity to RMNP as well as the many wildlife visitors are a big part of what make Valhalla special. It also definitely makes it all more worthwhile to be able to "give back" by helping families with new homes in 3rd world countries! More

We loved this place. Our Cabin was roomy, well equipped and with a lovely balcony overlooking the meadows and mountains. It was very peaceful yet within a couple of miles of the Park Entrance and the resort town of Estes Park. The staff were friendly and helpful. There were a range of activities on site -a swimming pool , mini golf ,... More

My brother got married in Estes Park, so at his request my family booked 3 cabins here. We stayed in cabin #23 for 4 nights in July. The cost was around $400/night. This included a hot tub on our deck. Cabin 23 was fairly clean, except for the urine behind the toilets. The yard was nothing but weeds that were... More

We appreciate comments by guests, even when they are not 100% positive. When guests bring an issue to our attention we attempt to immediately address it. We didn't hear from you during your stay so we couldn't address any issues while you were with us. This is a mountainous wilderness area and as such "wildlife" of every kind are present.... More

Lodging with large number of family members proved no problem at Valhalla Resort, Estes Park CO. We rented a duplex and opened the door between the two units. The unit we stayed in was nicely furnished and very clean. It felt so much like home that one was completely comfortable going barefoot as is seldom the case in motel rooms.... More

These cabins are in a good location and the price is very reasonable, but I felt some improvement could be helpful. The temperature in the cabins varied so widely I had trouble getting comfortable during the hot week we were there - there is no a/c and the size of the windows (very small) does not allow for a lot... Had an awesome time visiting Estes Park. This is a gorgeous resort, with awesome views all the way around. A beautiful cabin in a beautiful setting... the only thing I longed for was air conditioning!

My family of 20+ stayed in various cabins. We had an amazing time. Great location to go into town or stay put. It was nice to have a place to go inside when it rained. We had some mad games of ping pong going! Well kept. Clean, great staff. Can't wait to go back!

We honeymooned in Cabin 14 exactly 35 years ago and we decided to return for our anniversary this year. The cabin had some new furniture and a TV, but otherwise it was just as we remembered it. The bedroom is almost completely filled by the bed, it has full bath and kitchen, a dining table and nice living room area... More

We stayed in a 3 BR cabin and had a great view of the mountains in the spring. Mule deer everywhere, birds, saw a bobcat, elk. We went to the RMSP and saw moose, turkey, elk and more. Valhalla is very close to the park. You can also walk the path to the mountains. Gorgeous views! The cabin was perfect!... More
