Historic, enchanting, eerie. Absolutely beautiful and full of rich history. Tour guides are great and solo exploration encouraged. I filled my camera with pictures between the hotel and the landscape.

We were in a really nice suite on the 4th Floor. Watched the Shining and went on a ghost tour. At midnight we went over to the music hall for a little ghost conversation with Eddie! A really interesting tour about the history of the Stanley and stories about the resident ghosts.

Beautiful historic hotel with tours and displays boasting their rich history. I particularly loved the elevator, gilded tile ceilings in certain places, and vintage extra large mirrors in hallways. The maze was really small this time of year but still a fun touch. The views are spectacular, and all the buildings were perfectly white, with no blemishes. We were here...

I took my husband to the Stanley hotel for our 30th anniversary. We got their Ghost adventure package, which included staying in a haunted room, a ghost tour, and souvenirs. The hotel and the grounds are so beautiful you just cannot take enough pics. We went in October the weather was great. There is a really nice shopping area not...

First off, in case there are misconceptions- The Stanely Hotel influenced the writing of the Shining, but was not the set for the Kubrick Movie. It apparently was the setting for the 1990's The Shining mini-series. Either way, I was hoping it was much more remote and not surrounded by ski lodges and a five minute walk to a Safeway....

Great showmanship! Stories are fasinating, interesting and intriguing. Aiden's art is crazy ,fun and mysterious! He is very personable with a genuine warmth and artistry as an illusionist! We will definintly come back to The Stanley to see him perform again! The price is very reasonable.

I have been to The Stanley twice now, each time in January to see a band my fiancée and I love (Murder By Death; the show has a "The Shining" element to it...lots of fun). The scenery is breathtaking! Last year we stayed at The Lodge, this year we stayed in one of the condos. The whole area is absolutely...

The hotel is beautiful, the staff friendly and accommodating and historically speaking, it can't be beat. The only draw back is the crowds but fortunately they are not allowed on the upper floors unless they are on a tour.

We went in December, it was a very busy time of year and busy weekend. Yet the staff took such incredibly good care of us. Especially the concierge Chad Franke. He made us feel very welcome and made a large hotel seem very small and friendly.

The Stanley Hotel is an important historical building for Estes Park, and for Colorado overall. This is why it is so sad that it is not being maintained and staffed at the level it should be. To be clear, some staff were friendly and helpful. When you pay hundreds of dollars a night for a hotel room, however, you expect...

Dear 1975Panda, Thank you for your visit and feedback. We are sorry that your stay coincided with some of the heaviest snow that we have seen in Estes Park in quite some time. We do have staff working 24/7 to clear the snow and ice. We apologize if you felt that we didn’t keep up. Given the historic nature of...
