From the door staff to the housekeepers, what separates a hotel like this from other attractive boutiques is the level and friendliness of the service. Everyone we met at the Hotel Providence went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home. The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed, and the church bells next door are actually...

The hotel was very easy to find, it's easy access to the 95, but situated directly in the heart of the arts and historic district of providence. You can walk to nightlife, restaurants, parks, shopping. It's a really lovely location! The front desk was very helpful and nice, the room was wonderful. it was extremely clean, spacious, very comfortable bed!...

We are sorry that there was an incident with your vehicle, but, rest assured the valet company will be reimbursing you for the expense of the repair. Looking forward to your return. This was the first stop on our honeymoon road trip of New England. During our two night stay, we had top-level service from start to finish. When we arrived, we were informed that the elevator to our 5th floor room was out of service. We were offered a 2nd floor room, but opted for the room on the 5th floor....

The hotel is right downtown and an easy walk to everywhere downtown. The room we got was big, a suite and very comfortable. But the first thing we noticed was the hallways and room were quite cold. We did adjust our room, which helped. The bar service was stand offish and the waitress seemed not overly interested. Same with breakfast...

Thank you for your Trip Advisor review. We are pleased your overall stay was pleasant and that you enjoyed your accommodations and the hotel's downtown location. I am very sorry that the staff were not more engaged while taking care of you in the restaurant and bar, which we are discussing internally. Hopefully, we will have the opportunity to have...

We stayed here while attending a wedding. The first thing we noticed was that every member of the staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The common areas are lovely, and our room was comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated. A couple of problems: our room directly faced a church with a bell tower. Those bells go off from 8am until 8pm...

Thank you for your detailed and candid Trip Advisor review. We are delighted that your overall stay was enjoyable, but apologize for the preparation of the breakfast meats and the exhaust fans near your room. The Chef has been alerted to your concerns regarding the breakfast meats. I am glad you found our staff to be helpful and pleasant and...

The check in was a pleasure with Rosella, she was polite, courteous and very efficient. We were offered fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and iced tea during the checking process which was nice after a three hour drive. Valet parking was fast and easy right in front of the lobby. Our suite was large and spacious, bedding was crisp and...

I booked a room for a conference. The hotel is a classic. Solid, perfect condition. My room stunned me. It was large, very well set up, clean, comfortable, quiet. The lobby was very welcoming. The staff at the ready. You walk out into the Arts District, really feeling part of the City. The rate was comparable to other options. I...

No doubt not the hotel for everyone, but certainly everything we ever wanted. I say that because the Hotel Providence is the epitome of the boutique hotel and more.
