Driving across the country, we decided to spend a extra day in Tucson. CAT mountain lodge was the place for our needs. A restful, relaxing lodge, yet near to the sites we wanted to explore. The site has outside sitting areas and a courtyard for reading, birdwatching,or just enjoying a sit. We arrived late but Jenny the lodge manager had our...

What an adorable B&B. The decor was so cute and on point, and surrounding grounds were well kept and so peaceful. Two of my friends and I were having a "girls trip" and stayed in the Sierra Madre suite. We had so much space for the three of us! We all slept really well, the beds were so comfy. We...

We stayed in the Sierra Madre Suite... this is the best night's sleep I have had in months! I would recommend this beautiful B&B to all of my friends, family and people reading this review. The pillows... the beautiful nature walk, the breakfast at the cafe next door, the sitting room with tea and coffee, the fountain in the courtyard,...

This was our third (or is it fourth?) stay at Cat Mountain Lodge, one of the best B&Bs I've had the pleasure of staying in. That's not because it's some high-luxury joint, but because everything is so low-stress. It's quiet--SO quiet!--and roomy. Parking is not a hassle. The courtyard is beautiful. The beds are excellent. You can get coffee and...

A very clean, quiet, and restful room in a Hacienda style B&B, with beautiful grounds. The location is fantastic. Twenty minutes from downtown Tucson, but only 5 minutes from Saguaro National Park. The night sky is a special bonus. The Lodge is far enough away from the city and its lights, that the stars really shine. There is a patio...

A quaint, homely little B&B with a nice courtyard, comfy beds. Big and airy suites. We had the Spencer Suite and could not have been happier. I did not get to go the observatory but hope to next time. The landscaping is beautiful and it sits right in the desert. Have been traveling to that part of Tucson for many...

Unlike a lot of places on TripAdvisor, this place is even better than it looks in the photos! We really enjoyed our stay here. We loved our room, adorned with local arts and weavings. We loved the courtyard area. We loved the gardens, with all the hummingbirds flying around and incredible view of the desert and of sunset, and we...

The Cat Mountain is beautifully decorated with southwestern decor. The courtyard and grounds are lush with desert vegetation. The rooms are colorful and comfortable. It is located near the Desert Museum and Saguaro National Park but also a convenient distance from the activities and amenities of Tucson. It is a relaxing and beautiful stay just for itself. The night sky...

The Lodge was conveniently located near the Arizona-Sonoma Desert museum. The furnishings were fun. Deb was very helpful. She was quick to resolve a wifi issue in a super timely manner. The nature trail around the Lodge was a bonus, as was the hot tub under the stars.

Thank you so much for the glowing review, Elizabeth! We upgraded our wifi as a result, so now it performs at the speed of light! We are happy you enjoyed the surroundings of the Lodge, we work hard to make sure our guests have an authentic Sonoran Desert experience. We hope to see you again soon!

We chose this lodge because the Spenser Observatory is in the grounds, where you can pay to have a guided tour of the night sky. Unfortunately the astronomy session had to be cancelled because of cloud cover, but that didn't take away from the charming, friendly, beautifully furnished room we stayed at. The host couldn't have done more to ensure...

We really appreciate your awesome review! We are sad to hear the Star Tour was cancelled due to cloud cover. Unfortunately clouds are the enemy of star gazing. We hope that you have a chance to come back and enjoy the tour you came out for. The owner hand-picks all the decor in each room, so we are happy you...
