I recently stayed 4 days at the Arizona Inn. Every aspect of this hotel is enchanting, from the décor to the amazing history of it's existence. In each room is a book about the history of this hotel which I so enjoyed reading. Our room had a lovely private patio outside with our own table with umbrella and chairs to...

If you want a completely romantic, totally unique hotel experience filled with history and charm, you will do no better than the Arizona Inn. Now surrounded by a residential area, the Inn was originally (meaning 1930s) out from town. It was the go-to place for the Hollywood elite of the day, including Spencer Tracy, Katherine Hepburn, Montgomery Clift, Clark Gable,...

This charming hotel makes you feel you've stepped back to 1940. The grounds and ambiance haven't changed( except for upgrades) for decades. The pool area is quiet and heavenly and it actually has a clay tennis court that is well maintained. Little Adobe pink bungalows are cozy and comfortable with varieties of porches and sitting areas to watch the beautiful...

We find here the service of a traditional hotel; The place is beautiful, no building, small courtyards, lawn and flowers everywhere. Very quiet and you can benefit from rooms with patio. Perfect for a drink or breakfast. The staff is perfect. Beautiful pool. Dining rooms, and especially the library are beautiful, comfortable and furnished with antiques. I recommend this hotel...

I’m a native Tucsonan and stay at the Inn during my yearly visits from Colorado. The Arizona Inn is authentic Tucson in a way that the foothill resorts never will be. Back in the day, guests included Gary Cooper, Katherine Hepburn, Eleanor Roosevelt and JFK among many others. Comfortable, beautifully furnished rooms are spread over the 14 acres. Many have...

My husband and I had to be in Tucson for family business that was going to be emotional and exhausting and we wanted a hotel that would be a sanctuary after a very long, very warm day. This hotel is a hidden gem! It is elegant and peaceful. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. We felt like we went back...

This is a very favorable review of the Arizona Inn. It could have been an excellent review if it weren't for the mediocre service at the hotel. First, the great stuff: The Arizona Inn is an extraordinary, historic, impeccably maintained, gorgeous hotel in the charming desert frontier town of Tucson. The lobbies, restaurants and rooms are richly appointed in a...

A classic standard. Old world charm and comfort rarely seen anymore. The Inn is a grouping of buildings surrounding a central core. We had a deluxe suite with fireplace, 2 baths and about 1000 square feet. Clean and memorable. Staff extremely ready to supply your needs. If you want a taste of what hotels used to be like, the Arizona...

Went to Tucson for business but really enjoyed staying at the Arizona Inn. It has deep historical roots, large rooms and very large closets. History tells of families coming via train to spend weeks at the resort for vacation. So the closets are large enough to hold travel trunks. Loved the charm. The rooms are victorian decorated - and at...

This hotel is difficult to rate, because there are extreme strengths and weaknesses. Everything is very clean and the food is really strong. The bar stays open late, too. The hotel is so old, definitely some mold/mildew issues. The service is non-existent. The price is right, so I understand why the place is making it.
