Hubby and I spent four wonderful nights at this lovely and small hotel. The grounds are so beautiful. Our room was in the Catalina Section on the bottom floor. One minor annoyance was hearing footsteps from the people upstairs. I would recommend staying on an upper floor. Our room was spacious and well laid out. I loved having double sinks...

Wife & I appreciated this unique property. It's an Arizona classic. Beautifully landscaped, multiple levels of grounds. Staff was friendly & professional. Our meals were perfect. The room was spacious, bed was comfy. Great views from our patio. We will return!

Stayed here for work and booked several clients at the same hotel. The location is in the foothills so the drive to our business was 30 minutes each way but worth the extra time. The clients appreciated the quite location and beautiful scenery and commented they were happy we did not stay "downtown". We were all in the older part...

We spent two nights at the Guest Ranch and had a great time. We had a Catalina King (room 66) room that overlooked the golf course. Two places to eat on the property, both were absolutely wonderful. There are a couple pools, didn't use them but they looked very nice. Everybody at the hostel we talked to were very friendly...

I was at this hotel 7 or so years ago and had one of the original rooms--didn't love it so much so i thought i would give the new casitas a chance--yes, the are lovely, and yes the view is to die for but that is where it ends-- Housekeeping left a bit to be desired--we left to go to...

Stayed here in May, during Arizona graduation week. Most places were booked. I got a casita here with my love, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience, the views, the privacy. The food and service were excellent and everything about this resort was beautiful!

Came to the Hacienda del Sol to celebrate a milestone birthday with friends. The 2000 mile trek was well worth it. We had a small - original room that was nothing short of delightful. The grounds are beautiful - the staff friendly and helpful. Dining in the Hacienda Grill was 5 star perfection. I cannot get the beauty of the...

We booked this resort on the recommendation of a friend--but did not know what to expect. We were blown away by the great views, exquisitely landscaped grounds, charming rooms, and great service. We stayed 3 days and had breakfast and dinner on site all 3 days--the food is excellent! The location is convenient to all we wanted to do in...

Oh, my! This is a beautiful and tranquil spot in the foothills of the Catalina Mountains, only minutes from Tucson. We instantly loved the beauty as well as the interesting history of this former girls' school for the Vanderbilts, the Kelloggs, and the Westinghouses, among other wealthy families. Then it was a ranch frequented by celebrities such as John Wayne...

Went south for sun and warmth during January. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the staff are extremely cordial. When we got to our room, I was surprised how small and old looking it was. It turns out this historic hotel was a girls prep school and the room we stayed in was basically a dorm room. It had all...
