Traveled to Tucson with my husband for a long weekend, we lived in Tucson about 10 years ago so we wanted to stay someplace that felt "homey" and not like a hotel. We really enjoyed our stay, the bed was quite comfortable, the fireplace was a wonderful touch, and the room was spacious. We were in a corner room with...

We stayed one night in a second floor deluxe king and were very happy with our room. It was very large with a huge bathroom with a separate tub and shower. There was also a gas fireplace and a small balcony. The bed was very comfortable. We were facing a busy road, but with the doors closed we didn't hear...

Great place off the beaten path yet near the university. Clean, friendly and offered a great deal through travel zoo including $50 per day dining credit! Room was very spacious, staff was attentive and plenty of free parking.

We were pleasantly surprised how nice this hotel is, it has a resort feel to it. Our room was located in the back by the cactus garden. It was so quite and relaxing; we enjoyed our time and didn’t want to leave. The staff at the front desk was friendly; offered excellent customer service. They went out of their way...

We booked here at the last minute after unexpected changes in our travel plans. Had some difficulty finding a reasonable and available hotel. We were a little worried about the area but arriving at this hotel we were so relieved. It is an oasis. The hotel is pretty and contained behind walls which make for a quaint like resort with...

We stayed Feb 11-18th. Two months ago, we had requested a King room with fireplace in the new section. This hotel is very popular and was full the entire week were there. But, the front desk accommodated us with our request. Even though we were in the older section, we loved our room and they upgraded us to a deluxe...

The Lodge on the Desert is a good place to stay in Tucson, but shy away from the restaurant. The food was good, but the service was horrible. We had several issues - (1) Waitress forgot one of our orders for breakfast. There were 4 of us and we were nearly through our meal before the 4th meal was served;...

I made our reservation months in advance. I asked which side of hotel the clerk would recommend and the clerk said for her it would be the old southwest look in the traditional section of the hotel. I was surprised to find that there was no hair dryer in our room. The only plug in bathroom does not work even...

We had no expections when we booked this place for 3 nights. Not being familiar with Tucson, we read some reviews on TA (mixed - I should say)We had a dlx KING room (without a fireplace) which was very comfortable and convenient. The bed was so comfy (1 of the best - and we travel a lot).Extremely quiet location, and yet...

We stayed here twice in two weeks. The first stay was amazing. The room and food were stellar. Drinks in the bar were amazing, served by a friendly bartender. We went back 10 days later and the restaurant food and service had fallen apart. Our dinner was the better than breakfast. They were out of two of the options we...
