Beautiful hotel, centrally located to walk downtown Salem and the waterfront. Congenial and accommodating front desk agents. Comfy beds with fine linens, sparkly clean with wonderful toiletry products. The bar and restaurant downstairs was wonderful! Outside a huge TV to watch the World Series, fire pits, heaters, blankets and free popcorn. Almost heaven!

I LOVED this hotel. The location is unbeatable and within walking distance to EVERYTHING. The rooms are very clean, well-appointed and comfortable. The front desk staff was so friendly and helpful, they were always ready and enthusiastically willing to suggest a restaurant, give directions or make arrangements for airport pick ups. I can't wait to come back! Thank you guys...

This hotel is clean, new, well staffed with excellent customer service. The room was roomy with very comfortable beds , free wifi, and a Kuerig coffee/tea maker. The location is a block or two from Essex and historic Salem, and a few blocks from the House of Seven Gabels. The staff went out of there way to make the stay...

No better place to be than in Salem during the month of October.... not a house or business that is not sportin' some type of scary scene or offering up a haunted house, ghost walk, etc. A great way to get to Salem during the craze is to take the ferry that leaves out of Boston - Long Wharf. 40...

I have stayed at this hotel many times since it opened. The staff are always pleasant & helpful. There are even staff members who remember me & welcome me like an old friend. I have never stayed in a hotel where the rooms were as quiet as they are in this hotel. Even when my room was right next to...

This is probably the best place to stay in Salem. It was walking distance to pretty much anything. The staff were excellent, everyone from the front desk to the bartender. The beds were comfy and rooms were pretty clean, just the carpets were a little bit warn so they looked dirty. Also the walls could use some new paint or...

My mom, sisters, and I planned a birthday celebration trip to Salem and stayed at The Waterfront Hotel. What a wonderful experience! I can't say enough about the friendly hospitality we encountered. There were no witches there. The entire staff was as courteous and accommodating as any hotel where I have ever stayed. We were a little needy with trying...

This was our second stay at this hotel and it was just as perfect as our first stay. I absolutely LOVE Salem and the hotel goes right along with the experience. I would not want to stay anywhere else. The customer service at this hotel is top notch. There are times when you don't even have to ask for what...

Rising six stories, the Salem Waterfront Hotel & Suites on Pickering Wharf Marina blends a contemporary outlook with an appreciation for the area's proud past. It is Salem's newest boutique hotel with a warm nautical décor. The 86 rooms and suites have handsome wood furnishings, fabrics in soothing shades and windows that let in lots of light. Look for flat-panel TVs with cable channels, pillowtop beds and high-end Keurig coffeemakers. There are complimentary wired and wireless internet connections available throughout the property, and loaner iPads are available in the lobby. Local calls are free, as are morning newspapers in lobby. It is the only hotel downtown Salem with a heated indoor pool, and the fitness room is packed with cardio and strength-training equipment. Specializing in locally caught seafood, the on-site restaurant, The Regatta Pub, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner for a "Cool and Casual Fare with Flair". In warmer weather, the tables spill out onto the patio and on cooler nights we have roaring firepits for guests to relax and enjoy a beverage or meal next to. Laundry service is a plus and Parking is always free. Our doormen will be most happy to assist with luggage assistance. LOCATION: With more than 300 years of history just outside the front door, the Salem Waterfront Hotel is a great base for exploring. The hotel sits at Pickering Wharf, close to lots of shopping and dining opportunities. Within walking distance are attractions like the Peabody Essex Museum and the historic Phillips House.
