Flora runs an excellent B&B. Beautiful spacious rooms with superb fresh home baked breakfast. We stayed in the captain's quarters which were very relaxing. Ten minutes walk from either town centre or train station that links direct to Boston. Great value. Would love to return

When selecting a B&B for our stay in Salem, I looked for location, a reasonable price, and an actual freshly prepared meal - not a Continental breakfast. The Northey Street House delivered! Located on a quiet side street just a short jaunt from everything you want to hit in Salem, it is peaceful and the rooms are very spacious, comfortable,...

My boyfriend and I just returned home after a three night stay at the Northey Street House B&B in Salem, MA. We do not have one bad thing to say about Flora and her home! We stayed in the Captain's Quarters, which Flora upgraded us to upon arriving, and never got a better night's sleep in our lives! Breakfast every...

Flora was very helpful from the moment we booked our trip. She sent great directions and helpful hints for our stay. Our breakfast was very enjoyable, with homemade muffins one morning and scones our other two mornings. We had fresh fruit cup and mini baked eggs. Flora asked several times if everything was ok with our room, which was very...

I stayed at the Northey Street B & B while on location search for my new book. I really loved my stay here. I read an earlier review from a woman who raved about the quiches in the morning and staying in the Captain's Room. She was right on all accounts! I really found the B & B comfortable, relaxing...

My wife and I had planned to use Salem as a hub for our trips around the Northeast and Northey Inn filled the bill! The house is situated in a quiet neighborhood near the historic part of Salem, within easy walking distance of restaurants and attractions. Our room was clean, comfortable, and everything we thought it would be. Flora prepared...

We visit Salem frequently, especially to see the Peabody Essex Museum and other attractions, and tried a variety of hotels, motels, and B&Bs. Ever since our first visit to Northey House, we stay exclusively with Flora Tonthat. The location is perfect: a quiet--and I mean quiet--side street of lovely old houses, where we can park the car safely and walk...

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our three day stay at Northey Street. We were visiting son in Beverly anf found Northey Street conveniently located for that visit and for exploring Salem. Rooms are spotless and beautifully dedecorated. Garden room was cozy and comfortable. Flora is a charming hostess and a good cook.

Friendly, convenient, accommodating, comfortable and homey are just a few words to describe Northey Street B & B. My husband and I were traveling with friends and had the pleasure of spending a few nights at the Northey. It is located a few blocks from the Commons and attractions on a quiet tree lined street. The rooms were large, attractive...
