The Gunter offered a special for Halloween and out of curiosity I took advantage of it. I haven't had so much fun since I was a kid. In fact it made me feel like a kid again. I think the staff enjoyed it as much as the guest. If they do it again I'll be there. The only negative thing...

This is an older building, but has been somewhat recently updated and is well maintained. Room rates were not out of line with a brand-name hotel in a popular destination. Lobby area is tastefully decorated and well-lighted. Reception staff (front desk, bell, valet) were all very personable and professional. Check-in was efficient. Stayed for one night on Executive-level (11th floor)....

This historic building is located across from the majestic theater and has a lot of character. Hallways are narrower as expected in an older building. My room had one queen bed, which you don't see too often but I didn't mind. The gentleman who checked me in was very polite, conversational, professional and efficient. Noise from the streets was annoying...

This was my first stay,10/21-23/2014 (502 to 1026) at the Sheraton Gunter Hotel in San Antonio, Texas. Although this was a business trip, the Front Desk staff, Claude and Victoria were very helpful and made me feel so welcomed. As soon as I brought up anything that I needed, they were right there to fix it and make it right!...

Had a great stay at this hotel. The whole hotel was very clean and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. Our room was a great size, very clean. Very comfy bed! The bathroom was really small, but fine. The breakfast Buffett was great, but honestly a little overpriced for the selection. They have really cool Texas merchandise for sale...

The hotel itself is very classic. It's in a great location and the inside has a historic feel. The rooms are quite spacious however the bathrooms are small. It also wasn't cleaned very well. Dust everywhere, the toilet was disgusting and the tile/grout on the floor was dirty. The bathrooms need some major work. Having come down with a stomach...

Sheraton Gunter is an old historical that has recently been remodeled. It was a very enjoyable stay with free wi fi. It is one block from the River walk with lots,of restaurants and a Starbucks across the street. The staff was very pleasant and helpful - told us we could park in their parking lot for$28.00 or park across the...

Really cool old building with a lot of character but kind of creepy at the same time. Our room was a good size but the bathroom was very tiny. I loved the lobby, it was updated nicely to have some modern touches but still had the old feel to it. Staff was very freindly and helpful with any and every...

We spent 1 night in this hotel. It's older but well cared for. Location is the center of most everything. Blocks away from Alamo & all other sights. This time we didn't do river walk so no idea about that. The valets were fast & the counter help was very friendly! There is a Starbucks downstairs & have great pastries!

We checked in Wednesday night, check in was perfect, extremely friendly helpful and informative. The restaurant food was delicious, pizzas and tacos are the best. 5:45 am on Friday we called the reception because we needed something for our daughter, Mr. Mark Morales answered the phone and took this phone call personal. He was five minutes from finishing his shift,...
