Wow, I'm not sure where to start. This place is amazing. It's beautiful inside and out, the restaurants were delicious and reasonable. The area was great, lots of shops and restaurants but still not far from downtown. The staff were all super friendly and welcoming. There were so many little, intimate lounging areas all over. Very posh and super clean. We did not wear a mask anywhere and were never hassled about it. It is valet only, which wasn't a problem for us. They sent me a birthday card that the front desk had signed, making me feel special. I can't wait to visit again when we have more time.
It goes without saying the management team at this property is top notch. There is no way an organization can run as smoothly as this one does without the talents, professionalism and genuine care for customer satisfaction coming from the top. During our stay we had the opportunity to come in contact with multiple employees. At every level, from Valet, bellhops, front desk, concierge, owner's sales team, housekeeping, restaurant waitstaff and convenience store clerks we felt listened to, understood, respected, and accommodated with a true willingness to see that we were 'wowed'. We were treated with kindness and respect throughout our stay. The facility is stunningly beautiful, as you would expect in the finest of boutique hotels. There are multiple areas offering quiet escapes to relax and soothe your senses, both inside and out. The hotel is bright and gleaming with natural light reflecting from various marble surfaces. The rapturous smell of lavender wafts throughout the main floor bringing a sense of calm and tranquility. Noted were the live blooming orchids, various fine furnishings, set up as conversation pits, one such even offering the ambiance which only a fire in a fireplace can bring. This property is an amazing treat that I highly recommend and personally plan to return again and again.…
The bathroom in general was a bad design. The toilet area had a door, good, but the toilet sprayed water on the floor. I was able to fix that. The towel rack fell off the wall the first time we put a towel on it. I left it in the tub. There was no vent in the toilet area, not good with a #2. However, the commode was of the taller oval type which was very nice. The lighting over the sink did not provide enough light to see well while shaving. Not sure why there was a TV built into the mirror. Maybe that is why the reflected light was not bright. The sink looked like a watering trough or a urinal plus it took up all of the counter space allowing no room for personal toiletries. The shower was the worst. The water never got hot. After a long wait it became a cool warm. There was no door so even with the main bathroom door closed it was still drafty. The bath tub was in the same "room" as the shower but behind the person taking the shower thus a safety hazard, a person could back up from the shower and fall over the tub. Except for the entry way the lighting was poor. The bulbs were LED but they make brighter ones. LEDs use almost no electricity so why not go with bright ones. Lighting in the elevators was very poor. Signage as to which elevator to use was poor if there at all. To go from our room, 525, to the nice pools we had to go through the main areas of the hotel with our bathing suites on, dripping on the return. You would think there would be a place to cross over hall. The pools were very nice. The main part of our room was very good except for the poor lighting. There were plenty of electrical outlets at convenient places. The chairs were OK. We had a good view. The refrigerator was small with no freezer but it worked well. No microwave. Choices of near by eating places were very limited. More choices 1.8 miles away. $35 per night, unless a member then $20, for required valet parking outside is ridiculous. For as much as we pay for maintenance per year as members I would expect better lighting, toilets not leaking, and towel racks not falling off of the wall.…
The staff in the hotel and restaurant were amazing. The manager of the restaurant helped my wife and I discover our favorite wine. The valet boys have great service. The rooms are nice enough. Overall great stay.
Room ac barely worked. they do not notice about the 10 am checkout , they called me and i checked out 1050, and charged late checkout, being unreasonable about it. Feels the ambience of personnel very strict and npt very friendly. Rooms are ok and spa is very good.
