We don't usually stay at KOA's, but found this one pretty nice at a price that wasn't too bad. Restrooms were clean and we never had a wait for a shower. WiFi was okay, not a great connection, but adequate about half the time. Nice pool and well kept grounds. While we were there, a hell of a hail storm... More

This is such a nice and convenient place to have a stop over or to stay a few days. This is a very clean and safe place to stay near the Riverwalk. I would have never imagined a place like this in San Antonio to stay at. We were coming back from Padre Island headed home and needed a break,... More

One of the most beautiful campgrounds I have stayed at although with all the rain we were worried about the raising water level in the river/creek. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a bus stop right in front of KOA so for 1.30 you can leave your vehicle parked. The Camp Wagon wasn't that tasty but the cook... More

The reception was very good and welcoming. the site was busy but well organized. the breakfast van was very good and worth a trip. The bins were emptied on a regular basis and the site was quite considering how busy it was. San Antonia was a fantastic vibrant city during the day and night. we could have spent many more... More

A few days before we arrived, I called to make sure the pool was open and heated. It was very important that my daughter have a place to swim. The guy who answered, Larry, was very abrupt with me on the phone which should have been a clue. We made our reservations and arrived to find the park in an... More

Large sites - especially for an "in the city" type location. Nice tree cover, with paved roads to all the sites. Level sites. Very friendly and helpful staff and amazing check in lobby and small store. Restroom facilities were sparkling clean. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Also enjoyed the bike trail adjacent to the campground. Lots of squirrels enjoying the... More

We camped on site 5B. The site is a hard surface, semi- level pull through. The site is surprisingly spacious for a KOA with plenty of trees throughout the campground. There is a nice, clean, safe dog park. The chuck wagon serves a very good, reasonably priced breakfast Wednesday through Sunday. There is pizza and wings available in the office.... More

Place is Ok. Stayed here several times. Had to cancel once and was charged a fee to push a button. Campgrounds are getting a little like hotels anymore, more money no more services or amenities. Be different if it was a top notch park. Probably wouldn't stay her again may go outside of town and drive a little further. I... More

Large pull thru sites, knowledgable staff. Pool is exceptional. A great place for the kids to play and burn off excess energy. After a hectic day at The Alamo, it was good to come to a place to rest..

We've been coming to this campground for a number of years and always have a great camping experience. However, the last two times we've stayed here, we were not able to get connected to Wi-Fi on our laptop computer and there was nobody at the office who knew what the problem was, and, apparently, didn't care enough to get to...
