O’Casey’s is a Bed and Breakfast in a turn-of-a-century house close to the up-and-coming Pearl Brewery area, downtown and the River Walk in San Antonio. I have stayed in the Dublin, Blarney and Kilkenny suites. All were comfortable and had amenities way above my expectation at this price point. I have been traveling to San Antonio for three years and...

This B&B is everything you could hope for and more!!! This was the perfect place for a girls weekend retreat only two miles north of the Riverwalk surrounded by lovely historic mansions. It is meticulously maintained with an amazing chef to tantalize the taste buds and caters to various food allergies. We will certainly come back again!

How the national chain hotels pale in comparison to B&Bs like O'Casey's! Start with the incredibly wholesome, VARIED, non-microwaved breakfasts that really were brunches everyday. Then, the convenient location to San Antonio downtown sights and interstates is wonderfully quiet as part of the historic Monte Vista residential neighborhood. As a solo traveler dependent on mass transit, the frequent buses at...

We stayed for three nights with a large group of extended family at the end of February 2014. There were four families including 6 children in total. From O'Casey's, it is only a short 5-8 minute drive to the centre attractions of Riverwalk, Alamo, and Tower of America. The staff and owners were very hospitable and welcoming, even getting out...

My wife and I stayed for 3 days and loved it. Very relaxing, great breakfasts and wonderful staff. We thought it was a warm and charming place to stay. It's an old place with history, just rough enough around the edges to give it character. We will return. We loved the breakfasts. We stayed in a room at the front...

Was very happy with The Claire Cottage. Cute and tranquil. Quiet and family friendly. Wish the surrounding apartments and houses looked as nice. Watched the Super Bowl there with family. We will definitely stay again. Already planning for spring break, fiesta, or summer time.

This small Bed and Breakfast establishment has a delightful relaxed sense of welcome as soon as you walk through the door. Bedrooms are charming, spacious and individually decorated with natural woods and fabrics. Breakfasts are sumptuous, including hot homemade dishes, fruit salads, pies, warm oats and berries, and even cake. All prepared with love by staff who care about their...

My husband and I recently stayed two nights in The Kerry Room at this B&B. We were so impressed by the furnishings and attention to detail throughout the house. Our breakfast meals were delectable, thanks to the superb cooking of Innkeeper, Sherith. Conversation with other guests at breakfast was lively and memorable. We can't wait to return here and definitely...

So loved every bit of our stay in this charming inn set in a lovely historic district of San Antonio. The decor, warmth and hospitality wins you over the minute you step in. The tasteful interiors and interesting bric-a-brac all around tempts one to just stay in and soak it all up. The Kerry Suite was luxurious and had a...

“The front rooms with the balcony are worth the additional cost for the space. The stairs are steep, no elevator so pack a light bag!”

“If you book either the Kerry Suite or the Kilkenny Suite you have access to the wonderful balcony sitting area.”
 of 5 bubbles Barbara111148, 5 May 2015 | Read review
“The rooms with access to the front balcony are nice, but beware that it's shared with another room and the balcony may be noisy if you don't have both rooms booked. The kerry suite was nice because the access to the balcony wasn't in the extra room with the twin beds (where we had children sleeping). In the Kilkenny suite, the access is in the extra room with the twin beds, so we didn't want to use it for fear of waking our kids. Plus the extra room in the Kilkenny with the twin beds had a window into the main stairwell, that my kids would wake up if anyone turned on the stairwell light at night or tried to go up the stairs. If you have kids, I would choose the londonderry suite because it's extra room is ideal for kids, more so than the other suites. And, it's a quieter room since it's on the backside of the hotel.”
