We stayed here for a 2 day visit. Pros- close to town, good breakfast, nice snacks available through your day, wife is very pleasant, helpful local menus and maps around for use. Cons- close to town but we still found it more convenient to drive, Greg- the owner is not super welcoming, lower floors bedrooms you can hear every footstep...

Stayed four nights. I enjoyed this nice clean B&B with a different special treat for breakfast each day. Lavender Pancakes, green chile soufflé, creamy cheese polenta, were served on different days. Greg's Granola available daily and for sell too. Good location, very easy walk to harbor and ferry. May want to taxi if lots of luggage. Proprieters had great knowledge...

The Hillside House is a lovely place with a lovely outside deck and view. Room was well appointed with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was filling and tasty. However got off on the wrong foot with the owner. As a 68 y/o woman who travels extensively I am pretty independent. However I've never had an able proprietor watch me struggle with...

We only stayed at Hillside House for one night before a multi-day kayak trip but it was a great stay! We really enjoyed having some wine on the front porch with views of the harbor and loved that you could walk into town easily. Greg is a great cook and graciously made us a wonderful breakfast before we headed out...

This was our first time staying in a true B&B with the owners that actually live there. The home was beautiful! Service was great - Gary was an exceptional cook and whipped up a delicious breakfast with local food and ingredients. Their cookies were to die for! Our room was under construction so we got bumped up to the Eagles...

Our hosts were gracious and helpful, but not too overbearing. My husband and I aren't used to staying at a B&B but found Greg and Naomi the perfect hosts! Close to town, close to everything. Most comfortable bed and the bathtub- A-MAZING. Especially after a soaked whale watch, we crashed every night we were so exhausted. Breakfast was delightful and...

My husband and I spent one night at the Hillside B&B while visiting Friday Harbor from Victoria, BC. What a gem. Everything was terrific from Greg and Naoni's hospitality to our lovely room, to the beautiful deck, to the delicious homemade breakfast in the morning. We'll definitely be back!

Stayed one night room with private bath. Stocked with plenty of towels and toiletries, comfy bed. Greg and Naoni the owners were a delight to visit with. Both are so pleasant! Great afternoon snacks. Wonderful warm breakfast. Couple blocks out of town in a quiet area made for better sleeping and a nice evening walk.

Location was very near the ferry landing, Room was perfect for you needs, The owners were very helpful on what to see and when to go visit the attraction. The suggested a play for us to attend with local actors and it was great. We stayed 3 days and the breakfast was special each day

We were greeted rather gruffly by (we presume) the owner, but after the payment formalities we discovered that the rooms are quite nice. Bright, pleasantly furnished, and attractive. The property has a nice view out over the waters surrounding the island, though neither of our rooms had windows facing that view. This place is, apparently, noted for its breakfasts but,...
