My husband and I recently stayed at Hotel Chimayo for our 30th anniversary. The hotel was beautiful, but the service was very lax. Upon making the reservation I discussed the fact that that our anniversary was the reason for our stay. I also mentioned our ages and asked if we should stay on first floor or second floor. I was...

We booked two rooms at Hotel Chimayo de Santa Fe with another couple for a quick trip to Santa Fe. We were pleasantly surprised at check-in when we were told that the manager had taken the liberty of upgrading our reservations to a Presidential Suite. And, at no additional cost to us. The accommodations were spectacular. The staff were warm...

Great location - making the plaza and nearby area totally walkable. We walked to all the wonderful restaurants, museums, and shops. My room was top floor and was in a quite location. Check in was quick and easy with staff friendly and knowledge. One down side is the garage parking was $19 a day. All in all, it was a...

My partner and I just returned from a New Mexico trip, where we spent a couple nights in Taos, a couple nights at Ojo Caliente, and ended our trip with 4 nights at Hotel Chimayo in one of the 2 balcony suits. We were able to get an excellent rate on the room and there was a one night free...

This place was great they allow pets which my dog was very happy with. There were a lot of local festivities with helicopters and fireworks but inside you didn't hear the excitement. My dog is very fearful of loud noises like fireworks but he slept like a pup. It was very nice for me as well with major back surgeries...

Beautiful hotel! Truly a southwestern delight. The staff were friendly and rooms were fresh and clean. The king suite was like having your own apartment and I would book that room again in a heartbeat.

We stayed there for four nights. When we got there it was clear our reserved room configuration wouldn't work for us, and Shawnti went above and beyond to help us resolve it. Overall, the staff was amazing, and the location can't be beat - two short blocks from the square. It is has a quaint Southwestern boutique feel. I would...

We loved our stay! Very friendly people. Great location, in the heart of Olde Santa Fe. The decor had great traditional feel (so you knew you were in santa Fe, not "Everyplace else America." We had a balcony overlooking the courtyard -- great for morning coffee. Easy parking definitely a plus. They provide discounts to various nearby museums & shops...

This is a hotel that I have stayed in under at least two different brands; it is less than a block from the Santa Fe Plaza and within easy walking distance of many of the museums and best restaurants in Santa Fe. Parking can be difficult in Santa Fe and Chimayo has an easy, well-lighted self-park garage under the hotel....

Delightful hotel in the heart of Santa Fe. Exceptional value among pricey alternatives. Hotel parking which is a necessity in downtown Santa Fe. Beautiful southwestern atmosphere without the quirky bed!
