Came with friends for a drink. Cocktails are amazing, but a little bit pricey. Location within downtown Santa Fe is great. Lobby is very well decorated to match the period aesthetic. The butter cider drink is really great!

I don't look for a hotel to entertain me with the typical. This Hotel speaks of Santa Fe and its history within a minimal design aesthetic; just like I like it. The location is great for walking all over the historic part of Santa Fe. At night this was an enjoyable place to come back to after exploring the city....

We stayed for four night over the Christmas holidays fully aware of the mixed reviews but the location and price were right and it's historic character was appealing. But like a lot of things as old (76) or older than we are it came with it's share of problems so if you are looking for the perfect hotel do not...

Pros: Appealing, simple aesthetic shows off the architecture. Good location near the plaza. Both food and service at breakfast were very good, although we were disappointed that they were closed 2 mornings out of 4. Cons: First room was a decent-sized king room, but we were given a room in a noisy location, overlooking the street, directly over the front...

This hotel is a great location. We have stayed all around the Plaza over last 20 yrs. This was just not the warm friendly hotel It could be very easily. They need to train the employees on hospitality. They could add to the profitability with heaters on the porch and a friendly waitress. It has so much potential. Do they...

First , a perfect location, lovely lobby. Second, cramped room, poor lighting, no art or touches of Santa Fe in the room, no luggage stand (had to use the nightstand), no coffee maker, no coffee in the lobby two out of three mornings (how does a hotel run out of coffee), hotel does not own the restaurant so there's no...

I would not give it even one dot. We had reservations for 6 days and after seeing the room, we knew it was a mistake. It was not very clean and very small. The chairs were hard leather and one was falling apart so no resting and reading. The bathroom was a good 6 inch high step to get into...

Many moons ago I stayed in this hotel when it was a pretty scary place. Dark, foreboding, questionable cleanliness! It think it was called the DeVargas then, not sure. Since becoming the Hotel St Francis it's charm has resurrected. The location could not be better. It's got a minimalist feel to it. In the summer the porch is a great...

We were disappointed there was no holiday tribute, no hospitality, no interest gestures, no concierge, no amenities explained or offered, no other patrons for breAkfast lunch or dinner or bar. No real decor. When commented to desk clerk, she said maNy similar comments as such were made, owner says he doesn't care. That is how he wants it... totally minimal....

We stayed at the hotel St. Francis during a conference. We had a double room that was comfortable and clean. The hotel is smaller than several in the area, but I think it made it more quaint. Our room was very clean. There was no continental breakfast and I am not sure about parking accommodations since we flew in and...
