Today marked my eighth visit to Ten Thousand Waves and they just keep getting better. On tap today was the Long and Sweet package: a private tub, the nose to toes, and a Thai massage to bring it home. By the end of the day I was a relaxed collection of muscles. Thankfully I managed to find my down the...

I cannot think of a single thing that could have made this better. The room is fantastic and well set up (a fireplace!), the restaurant is delicious, and the spa is enchanting. Ten Thousand Waves is a must when in Santa Fe.

Especially after a long day of skiing. Make reservations ahead. Great for relaxing and getting the soreness out. So many different types of private hot tubs to choose from . We don't do the communal tub. Many different types of massages and treatments to choose from the menu. Japanese robes to wear to the hot tubs then back in for...

Ten Thousand Waves is a perennial favorite, and I find it has improved with age. Service is far superior to it past throughout the resort. We stayed in Blue Moon and visited the Shoji tub, both lovely. The big treat, however, was chef's dinner at Izanami. Wow. We consider ourselves to be connoisseurs of Japanese food and sake. Chef's menu...

If you are familiar with the Japanese Ryokan, this isn't that. But it's darn close and it's an amazing place to stay. It's unique in it's own way. Ten Thousand Waves drops the tatami mats for western style beds, keeps the high-tech Toto toilets and embraces adobe architecture. It''s the perfect hybrid of the southwest and the Japanese design esthetic....

Being here is a journey for your senses, and to lodge here is incredible. We stayed here for two nights, with spa services over the course of three days. Lodging: Amazing. Radiant floor heated room invited us to remove our shoes at the door. All our needs were met, simply, yet with great detail. Food in kitchen for simple breakfast....

I've stayed at "The Waves" many times and it remains one of my favorite places to go when I need to get away from it all. The cabins are well appointed and comfortable. I especially like that they have wood burning fireplaces and some of them have dog-proof courtyards, which allows me to bring my little pal along. The setting...

4 of us had a girl's weekend at Ten Thousand Waves. We put the Japanese robes on when we got there and took them off when we left 2 days later. We spent our time at the spa, hiking, and eating in the restaurant, The rooms had fantastic teas, coffee, and granola. We took fruit and yogurt for breakfast and...

My husband and I have visited Ten Thousand Waves on trips to Santa Fe for decades. This visit we decided to also stay at the Houses of the Moon and truly become unplugged from the craziness in the world and the pressure of our jobs. It was the perfect place to do so. The spa treatments and service are among...

What a great place to relax and spend time with your loved one. So scenic and full of atmosphere. We spent 1 hour in a private hot tub that was surrounded with Japanese setting of plants and fresh air. There was also a cold dip to cool off. There also was a sauna that was available. Very romantic.
